The plot of the mini-series
The film “Attempted Faith” has a rather dramatic plot. The main characters of the picture are the 35-year-old spouses of Nikolaev. Vera is an employee of a private clinic, a reproductologist. Sergey is a leading geneticist at the Research Institute of Gynecology and Obstetrics. The couple is experiencing a difficult midlife crisis. It seems to the heroes that something needs to be changed in life, and they, losing their heads, rush in search of new partners, a new family. The situation is complicated by the fact that the couple have no children. Faith in one's obsession with experiencing the joy of motherhood goes through a series of setbacks in trying to get pregnant. And suddenly she learns that her husband will soon have a baby from another woman.
Further, without a spoiler, it is not possible to describe the development of the storyline of the melodrama “An Attempt of Faith”. Actors who embodied the idea of Lilia Kim were invited to the production of the film by producer Konstantin Ernst.

The director, having assembled a thoughtful, professional team, made a picture of people without patterns, namely a dramatic movie, not a series. According to Artyom Antonov, “Attempt of Faith” is a film primarily about family relationships.
