At the international festival in Odessa, director Anatoly Mateshko presented the drama series of 16 episodes of Triple Defense, whose actors did an excellent job with their roles.
Filming began in the winter of last year. The plot of the series was the story of a girl and three best friends. On her heart begins to claim the one whom friends consider the enemy.
Short description
What is the plot of the series Triple Defense? The actors played the following story: Boris, Vladimir and Tamara have known each other since childhood. They are connected by common interests, work and friendship, and also the memory of Maxim - their friend who died. He was the husband of Tamara. During the operation to detain a group of criminals, he was killed. Everything, it would seem, is obvious - the criminal was convicted, the case was closed. But a year and a half after the death of Max, a threat looms over his wife. Boris’s best friend is aware of this and takes action. Vladimir, his comrade, does not share suspicion. But this does not stop Boris, and he wants to reveal the secret of the death of a friend. In addition, they are driven by a long-standing sense of love for Tamara.
The main female role
The role of Tamara went to Maria Efrosinina, who was invited to star in the series by the main director. According to her, she was very surprised at this invitation and after a call with an offer to take part in the filming a little tensed. After all, before that she did not have a normal acting school. But the director counted on her experience in the theater and TV shows. Thus, Maria agreed and went to the casting.
The most difficult thing was the scene in which Tamara finds out about the death of her husband. When analyzing this episode with the director, it was concluded that falling into hysteria was too serial. Therefore, it was necessary to play everything for real.

It is noteworthy that Yegorov tried to find a job as a cleaner before filming, and he still does not have an acting education. The director called it a discovery. Euphrosinin was also interesting for him in a dramatic role.
Creators left overs
The script was written by Ukrainian writer Andrey Kokotyukha in collaboration with Anastasia Mateshko. The idea originated 6 years ago. But then the idea had a different name containing the nicknames of the main characters. The writers wanted to create a detective story that would unfold against the backdrop of a melodrama, with the addition of a love triangle. The project was too bold, and the creators were often advised to change the spicy love line for the reason that the viewer was not ready for this. But years later, the script was still approved. In the process of writing it, the channel proposed options for the development of the plot. So the topic of a maniac appeared, and the characters became more understandable to the viewer.
In the series "Triple Defense" actors, screenwriters and other creators worked hard for fame. It is noteworthy that the director was not alone. The first part was shot by Anatoly Mateshko, and after him Anton Azarov began to work. The filmmakers note that such a duet did not affect the integrity of perception at all.
Azarov said that the series was shot in Ukraine without regard to the Russian market. After all, a huge number of projects were previously created for Russian television. Now the situation is changing. The director likes this, and he hopes that this trend will continue for a long time.
To date, all work on the series "Triple Defense" has been completed. Actors consider the project to be quite successful, but note that the main assessment remains with the audience.
