"End of vacation"
The debut work of Viktor Tsoi as a movie actor. This short film, more than 20 minutes long, shows three short mini-stories. All of them are united by a story about simple and uncomplicated everyday situations. The film also shows the clips of the Kino group, in particular for the songs We Will Continue to Act, Close the Door Behind Me, I'm Leaving and Try to Sing with Me. It was participation in this picture that opened the door to a young musician in Russian postmodern cinema.
"Needle"
It is this film that most people recall when they hear about the leader of the Kino group as an actor. The film "The Needle" with Viktor Tsoi became the most popular in the career of a musician and actor.
The plot of the picture tells about the young guy Moreau, who arrives by train to his hometown. He does not want his parents to know about this, and therefore remains to live with his girlfriend Dina. Subsequently, it turns out that she became a drug addict, because of which the character of Tsoi decides to help her. Together they leave for the sea to overcome addiction, but when she returns home, everything becomes as before. Moreau decides to stop the drug suppliers, for which he is killed.

The documentary, the essence of which is to show the rock party of the 80s. The film was shot by director Alexei Uchitel in one of the clubs in St. Petersburg. It was there that such iconic groups as “Cinema”, “Picnic”, “Auktsyon” and many others played in the late 80s.
