Secondary education in Russia. Change again

Education has always been not indifferent to our compatriots, evidence of the literacy of ordinary people (birch bark letters in Novgorod the Great) dates back to such an antiquity, when kings signed in Europe and put an end to it.

But the system of education in Russia was complicated.

The school, which we now call secondary, was class. Education was classical and had as its ultimate goal admission to the university. Secondary education in Russia has become more accessible since the beginning of the 19th century, when gymnasiums and parish schools began to be actively created.

Secondary education in Russia

For a long time after this, the education system was rather confusing. Primary education was represented by various schools and parish schools. There were schools, as we would say now, of an in-depth type.

Secondary education in Russia was represented by male and female grammar schools, real and commercial schools, institutes of noble maidens and cadet corps. This is not a complete list of institutions where children could receive secondary education. In Russia, many strove for this; there were many talented people from the people.

paid secondary education in Russia

After the revolution, secondary education in Russia, that is, then already in the RSFSR, became free by law. The Constitution secured the right to education for people , and since then the rights were somewhat imposed, this right also became an obligation. Twenty years later, all children growing up in our country receive education. Moreover, they receive according to a single program, which is taught both in the village and in Moscow.

A school in Russia is gaining special status and significance. It is the school now - not only a place where they learn to write and count, but also ideologically treat children. The pioneer organization, where all children are obligatory accepted, is the first step on the way to the party. Children are not only socialized in the Soviet school, but β€œpolished”, adapted to the general standard of Soviet society.

Parents often tried to find the best among exactly the same. Often these were language schools or schools with in-depth study of mathematics.

After all, then a good secondary education is then not only an opportunity to enter a university without cronyism and tutors (which most families could not afford), but also a breadth of views, additional opportunities.

School after perestroika began to change one of the first. As soon as the restrictions were lifted, copyright programs and advanced courses flooded the children.

Now the situation has changed unprincipled. Against the general background, only two topics attract attention: paid secondary education in Russia and the restriction on admission to first grade not by registration, introduced this year.

Secondary education is

Regarding the paid education, unrest has not abated for several years. They promised that since September 2012 only three items will remain free. But so far no such law has been introduced. Perhaps a study of public opinion was conducted and it became clear that it would provoke too many protests.

But then new rules of admission to school, which affected only first-graders, were introduced. Now you can only get to school in your community.

Secondary education is changing again, and society is changing with it.
