Vladimir Episkoposyan: the beginning of the road
Actor from Yerevan, was born on January 21, 1950. Vladimir Arustamovich Episkoposyan decided to go to the artists far from immediately. He graduated from high school with honors, then entered the Law Faculty of Yerevan University. He combined his studies with sports. Episkoposyan was a member of the Armenian national basketball team and took part in the USSR championship. It is possible that Vladimir would become a lawyer or an athlete, but the case intervened.
The young man caught the eye of the creators of the film almanac “Tsar Chah-Chah”, dedicated to the works of the Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. Vladimir was offered one of the key roles. Vladimir Episkoposyan with pleasure participated in the filming of the film almanac. The young man immediately got sick of studying at the law faculty, he began to dream of a more interesting profession. However, Vladimir still received a law degree. For about six months, the young man worked as a legal adviser, finally became disillusioned with his profession, and then entered the Yerevan Art and Theater School.
After college, Episkoposyan got a job in the Yerevan Russian Drama Theater. The actor made his debut in the play "Two Maples" by Eugene Schwartz. His first character was the Bear.
