The actors of the movie "Transformers: Age of Extinction" presented the audience with completely new characters for the franchise: the Cade family and Tessa Yeager. Father and daughter live on a farm in Texas, interrupt from a penny to a penny. Cade is a robotic engineer with tremendous talent. But nobody needs his ability to design robots in rural areas. Therefore, he moonlights as a mechanic. Yeager once brings an old truck home from a car dump. When he begins to disassemble it, the machine transforms into a Optimus Prime robot. All Autobots have been mercilessly haunted by the US government for 5 years now. Therefore, Jaeger faces a dilemma: to surrender Optimus to the authorities or help him recover. Cade chooses the second path.
But a close friend informs Jaegers. Soon their special forces destroy their farm. Cade, his daughter Tess, racer Shane and Optimus Prime disappear from sight. Now they have to re-assemble the team of Autobots, fight the villain Lockdown and at the same time restore their good name in the eyes of earthlings. New heroes brought a lot of interesting things to a well-known plot. As a result, the picture raised a billion dollars at the box office.
