Ombre (from French means “shadow”) is a peculiar new fashion direction. Such a technique can be found everywhere: in accessories, in clothing, and in the interior. Hairdressers also decided to keep up and suggested creating an ombre effect on the hair.
The strip is white, the strip is black
Ombre on the hair is a dyeing in several colors that stretch very smoothly and evenly along the entire length of the strands. After this procedure, your curls will look as if they were burnt out in the sun. The main feature of the ombre is that two contrasting colors should literally "flow" into each other. Clear boundaries should not remain. To create an ombre effect on the hair, they usually make a color transition from dark to light shades or vice versa. Although it may be more bold combinations (for example, from burgundy to straw).
The third is not superfluous
Today it is also fashionable to use not two shades, but three. The selected third color is applied either in the center of the hair length, or purely horizontally. The color of the third “participant” of such a process can either be more natural or very different from the whole color tone. For example, the most daring ladies can choose a golden color for the roots, which neatly turns into red, and then purple. Another unusual option is a discolored “top”, which gradually turns to ashen, and closer to the tips - to burning black.
Your perfect color
To create an ombre effect on the hair, you need to go a little non-standard way. You can safely experiment by choosing a tone that is very different from your natural color. If you adhere to more conservative views, you can only dream imaginatively with your image by choosing the closest shades to your natural hair color.
How to make an ombre effect?
For this procedure, you will need:
- paint 2 or 3 colors (select the amount depending on the desired result);
- several containers for mixing (for each paint);
- comb (with frequent cloves);
- gloves;
- foil.
You need to start staining with the roots, gradually approaching the tips. In principle, you can do without foil, if you smoothly reach the line where the new color will begin. However, after staining, each strand must be wrapped. After about an hour, you can remove the foil and look at the result. If the tone you received does not suit you, you can apply the paint again. Thus, you will achieve lightening of hair in several tones.
Most importantly, avoid creating clear boundaries. It is also enticing that dyeing hair in this way is a rather creative process. There cannot be two identical ombre stains. The effect on the hair (the photo shows a very good example of such coloring) will always be completely different.
This popular trend has long been chosen by many Hollywood stars, which is not surprising. The ombre effect on the hair makes the image more interesting and fresh. Do not be afraid to experiment and do not restrain your creative impulses. Ombre is suitable for almost all women, regardless of the thickness or structure of the hair.
