Who would have thought that ordinary children's hobbies, such as climbing trees, jumping over ravines, somersaults and rifts, could become a fundamental factor in creating such a famous and sought-after movie and not just a sport. Many teenagers, or even older boys and men, are now passionate about parkour, and are studying according to an already prepared plan, which was developed by a very talented person - David Belle. This guy in childhood was so fond of sports that now for him it is a whole life.
It is known that a celebrity has three children. But, unfortunately, there is no more data on the personal life of David Belle and his wife.
Young years
Baby David was born into a family of heroes: his grandfather was an honorary firefighter, and his father, while also working as a firefighter, surprised everyone with his physical and volitional strength so much that his colleagues nicknamed him "the power of nature." Belle was born on April 29, 1973, and from an early age he listened enthusiastically to the stories of his grandfather about the courage and heroism of firefighter-rescuers in his squad. The kid was so impressed by the stories of his grandfather and father that he himself began to imagine himself a hero, running through the streets and overcoming various obstacles, sometimes made with his own hands.
Go to great glory
By the age of fifteen, David Belle was simply obsessed with the development of his physical strength, agility and flexibility of the body. Teenage hormones have done their job, and the guy decides to drop out of school and go to a place near Paris - Less. Here he meets several guys who liked the idea and concept of a new sport. Subsequently, the guys founded their parkour club "Yamakashi".
David did incredible tricks that were filmed on video. And once some important persons became interested in what they saw, and decided to shoot a video about the guy. Huber Kunde, the leading actor in the film βHateβ, introduced the guy to the significant faces in the cinema. So David Belle began to explore a new world of cinema.
Way to the big screens
The popularity of parkour and its founder was gaining momentum. David began to appear in commercials of such well-known brands as Nissan and Nike. He was invited to shoot in video clips of famous stars. And finally, David began appearing in feature films. His first episodic roles can be seen in such films:
- Detective "Fatal Woman" (2002). Here David played the role of French Cope, and Antonio Banderas himself became his colleague in the workshop.
- Phantasmagoria film "Divine Intervention" (2002). Then Bell was assigned the role of a well-aimed sniper.
David Belle then worked on the film Crimson Rivers 2, where he was responsible for parkour tricks. During the filming, the great parkour met the actor Cyril Raffaelly, with whom he will subsequently appear in several film projects.
