An important role in the success was played not only by the script, good special effects and the work of the director, but also by the actors and the roles of “Attraction”.
Plot
The film takes place in Moscow, namely, Chertanovo. Pupils and adults are preparing for the great event - a meteor shower will pass.
But an incredible beauty event ends in tragedy for several students. During the rain, an alien ship falls onto the area. During a collision with the Earth, he demolishes part of the building and kills Svetlana - Julia's best friend.
The death of a friend makes yesterday's schoolgirl pick up a weapon and go in search of killers. But while communicating with the alien, Julia realizes that all her judgments were erroneous.
The film "Attraction": actors and roles
The main cast of the film "Gravity" includes beginner actors and eminent figures of Russian cinema. All of them had to try on the roles of ordinary people who encountered aliens, whose intentions were not known.
Julia Lebedeva
In the film “Attraction”, the actors and roles were distributed so that the viewer had no doubt that what was happening on the big screen was true. The role of the main character was performed by actress Irina Starshenbaum.
Her character is Julia Lebedeva. This girl is an ordinary schoolgirl who has the most common problems. She is in love with a “bad” guy whom her father does not approve of. She is only worried about where to go in the evening and how not to get bad grades.
But the alien invasion is changing the life of Julia. Her best friend Sveta dies, and this loss forces the fragile girl to pick up a weapon and go in search of those involved in the death of her friend.
But when teenagers manage to captivate one alien, Julia realizes that this race did not plan to destroy people, that the death of Sveta is a tragic accident. All this leads to the fact that Julia turns away from her own kind and begins to help the stranger.
Hakon
The role of the alien went to actor Rinal Makhametov. His character is a representative of an extraterrestrial civilization that has advanced significantly in technological development. They went to Earth to study the human race. And they never had evil intentions towards people.
During a meteor shower, the ship was hit, and that is why it crashed onto Chertanovo, destroying buildings and killing Sveta and other people. Because of this incident, the government decides that the aliens want to take over the world.
So Hakon is in a difficult position. He cannot convince the military that he is not a dangerous object. And at the same time, he cannot defend himself so as not to harm anyone. But everything changes when he meets Julia.
Artyom
Actor Alexander Petrov in the film played the role of Artyom - Julia's guy. After Sveta’s death, he and the girl plan to capture the aliens and kill them. But after Julia decides to take the side of Hakon, Artem ceases to control his actions. He still intends to kill the alien at all costs, even if it leads to the death of Julia.
Valentin Lebedev
The role of colonel of the military forces of Russia and father Julia was performed by actor Oleg Menshikov. After the invasion, Valentine is between two fires. On duty, he is forced to obey the orders of the government. But at the same time, he sees that his daughter needs him.
Reviews
After the release of the film, the audience and critics were divided into three camps. Reviews of "Attraction" can be safely divided into positive, neutral and negative.
Some publications and critics note the high quality of the graphics, the interesting plot and the complex subtext of the film, which shows that unreasonable hatred of the “others” can cause losses on both sides.
Videobloggers and users of social networks most often scold the movie “Attraction” (2017) for the lack of logic, character development, stereotyping and a whole mountain of holes in the plot. Western media did call the film superficial and secondary.
Some publications decided to maintain a neutral position. They praised the film’s graphics, but noted that in “Attraction” the actors and the roles they performed were too “cardboard”.
