Plot
Yuri Kozyrev, who honestly served the whole war with the rank of senior lieutenant of intelligence, is captured one day before the victory. Upon his release, he is immediately given the term "for treason". Three years later, Jura falls under an amnesty and goes home. In a small town in the Moscow region, Kozyrev is met with unpleasant news. There is no father, the mother died, the bride married another.
Kozyrev is arranged as a security guard. A week later, an attack is made at the warehouse where he worked. Yuri becomes the first suspect, hides from the police and independently searches for criminals. When he finds the attackers and surrenders them to the authorities, it comes to Beria. Lavrenty Pavlovich by personal order appoints the hero as an inspector in the criminal bureau.
Kozyrev’s life is in full swing. He learns that his pre-war friend is in charge of crime in the city. Larisa still loves him, but cannot leave her husband. Colleagues took the new comrade in arms with hostility.
The plot of the second part
The continuation of the movie Pointing, the actors and roles of which were partially changed, tells about the events after 3 years. In 1953, a new department to combat banditry was created in the Petrovsky Department of Internal Affairs. Kozyrev is appointed chief. At the same time, Pivker is released, reinstated, and then promoted. The old enemy skillfully substitutes Yuri and sends him to prison. Chaly, wanting to restore his reputation, comes up with an ingenious trap and removes an opponent from his post. To strengthen his place and help out a friend, he helps Grunin and Bazhenov bring Pivker to clean water.

Flerov E.I. plays the role of Yuri Kozyrev. The actor was born in an intelligent family in 1966. Father is a doctor of sciences, a physicist, a well-known scientist in his circles. The shooting took place in the village of Rybinsk. This place was chosen because it did not lose the spirit of the Soviet era. The director considered him a real Klondike. The local recreation center was especially attracted by Urazaev. For successful shots, corridors, the auditorium, and the facade, on which the decorators worked for 2 months, came up here. Houses of the last century, old, each with its own characteristics - everything was included in the film.
The fleet was a lorry, a motorcycle with a sidecar, as well as a BMW of the 38th year. For extras, they used local residents who were happy to participate and gladly wore old quilted jackets and short fur coats.

Creating such a subtle concept requires a lot of work. All characters are real, Uncle Vova, Chaly, Kozyrev and Yakut are especially colorful. The film uses quality music. But it is worth noting a number of historical inaccuracies. For example, the NKVD form was established only in 1935, and it was simply impossible to reach and talk to Beria, surrounded by security around the clock. In the post-war period, communication with the criminal world, no matter at what level, was strictly punished and was impossible.
Mighty, strong series - the legend of the Soviet era, when everyone was "kind of cool." The Pointing Dog, whose actors and roles are described above, deserves praise for his strong work and vivid images.
