The people needed new “their heroes” from contemporaries. Lieutenant Tarasov became the country's favorite. Just as the ingenious Vyacheslav Tikhonov became Shtirlits for millions of compatriots, so Boris Sergeyevich Galkin turned into Lieutenant Tarasov, commander of an elite sabotage group that performs key, super important missions in large military exercises.
