In the recent past, every modern parent went to school, wrote tests and passed exams. Time passes, and innovations appear in the educational system. USE, OGE, VPR - voiced abbreviations that today's students hear every day. If your child is in primary school, then you will definitely have to find out what is VLR at school, from this state tests will begin in the fourth grade. Students of the ninth grades pass the exam, and at the end of the secondary educational institution, the exam is expected. But first things first, we'll figure out what awaits graduates of elementary school.
What is VLOOKUP at school
Russian students for the first time wrote VLR in the Russian language in 2015, and in subsequent years added controls in mathematics and the world. All-Russian verification work (VPR) - this is the final inspection work in various subjects. VLR has been introduced for a systematic assessment of the level of school education throughout the country. These works were developed taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and evaluate not only students, but also the quality of education of different schools.
If you compare the VLOOKUP with the USE, you can see both the general features and the difference. Both types of tests evaluate the level of knowledge of the student, but VPR is not the state final certification, and all students move to the next class regardless of the results.
Pupils write VLOOKUP for the first time at the end of the fourth grade, and then each academic year until graduation. And this is a good rehearsal before passing the unified state exam at the end of training.
Why do you need VPR
What is CDF at school, we figured out. The second question to answer is: "Why and for whom is it needed?"
Of course, the test results are indicative of the students and their parents. They determine the level of preparation of the child and the quality of the educational services provided by a particular school.
The results are important for educators to assess the quality of their work and compare with the performance of the whole country. An analysis of the results of VLOOKUP in the school makes it possible to evaluate and adjust the methods of teaching and presenting information.
It is difficult to come up with a more objective method of assessing teachers from the administration of educational institutions. PPR give the opportunity to do this impartially.
In addition, “weak” schools come under special control of the education departments of the municipal, regional and federal levels, support measures are developed for them.
Thus, CDFs provide an opportunity to bring education across the country to a single standard and maximize the level of education in each school.
How are VPR in primary school conducted?
To conduct VPR, a school order is issued, where the order of work is regulated. This document defines the main parameters of the procedure:
- participants in the organization of VLOOKUP;
- responsible persons and inspectors;
- determination of the terms of how much should be stored VLD at school, and persons responsible for safety;
- the procedure for conducting and evaluating and other important points;
The main duty of parents is to ensure the presence of the child in the test. In the framework of the CDF in primary school, parents and students are introduced to the general requirements for the control work and the final results.
PPS for the fourth grades are held on the same dates throughout the country. Tasks are developed by specialists at the federal level and are identical for all schools.
The criteria for evaluating the work are also uniform:
- willingness to continue training;
- willingness to use knowledge in practice.
All-Russian verification work is carried out on special forms, where instead of the surname and name of the student a four-digit code is indicated. This measure eliminates the bias against a particular student by the teacher during the test. Evaluation of the work is carried out according to the specified criteria obtained with the task.
Before starting work, a briefing is given, then the students proceed directly to the control, for which they are given one lesson - 45 minutes of time. The use of additional materials (books, atlases, dictionaries, calculators) during operation is not allowed. You can only use drafts, but records on them are not taken into account during verification.
What is VLR at school and why they are conducted, we figured out, now let's talk about VLR in certain subjects.
What subjects do VLOOKUP
At the end of the fourth grade, every Russian schoolchild should write a PPR in three subjects:
- Russian language;
- mathematics;
- the world.
There are no answer numbers in the papers, as in the test, all tasks provide an independent answer. VLR includes tasks affecting the most important topics of training primary school children.
VPR on the Russian language
Examination in Russian in the fourth grade consists of two parts, and it takes two lessons on different days. The first part includes a dictation and two tasks for it, the second part consists of twelve tasks, nine of them according to the proposed text. In total, the control results in fifteen tasks, two of which are of increased complexity.
The maximum number of points that a student can get is 38.
Points are converted to grades in accordance with the following scale:
- from 0 to 13 points - 2;
- from 14 to 23 points - 3;
- from 24 to 32 points - 4;
- from 33 to 38 points - 5.
VPR in mathematics
Examination in mathematics is carried out in one lesson and offers eleven tasks. When performing part of the tasks requires only an answer, part implies a drawing, in the rest both a solution and an answer are required. The maximum number of points a student can get is 18.

- from 0 to 5 points - 2;

Some tasks require choosing the right image, some require a short answer, and some require a detailed answer. The maximum number of points that a student can get is 31.
Points are converted to grades in accordance with the following scale:
- from 0 to 7 points - 2;
- from 8 to 17 points - 3;
- from 18 to 25 points - 4;
- from 26 to 31 points - 5.
How to prepare a child for mop
Special preparation for VLD at school is not required. The knowledge that the child received during the four years of education is quite enough. Assessment for VLD is not a total for all years and does not play a role in the further educational activities of the child.
Experienced teachers are optimistic about such work, do not seek to “train” students a month before the appointed date, but systematically, efficiently and interestingly teach the subject, which allows them to achieve good results. It is unprofessional on the part of the teacher to create an aura of high importance and nervousness around VLD, this negatively affects the psyche of students, and the results may be below the real level of knowledge.
In order for your child to cope perfectly with VLD following the results of training in elementary school, you can follow the following tips of experienced teachers:
- For good dictation results in the Russian language, it will be useful to develop the child’s ability to write under the dictation of different people. For four years, the child gets used to the voice of his teacher, his intonation and timbre.
- To prepare for the CDF, you can use the task bank, which is located on educational resources, and additionally study at home.
- It is necessary to increase the level of general erudition of a child, to read books and encyclopedias.
- Do not create additional stress for the child around VLOOKUP, be calm, do not make excessive demands.
- Do not try to “shove” all the knowledge in the last month into the child’s head, this will lead to overstrain.
All students, starting from the fourth grade, are waiting for annual VPR at school. Deciphering this sonorous abbreviation is not so scary. Like any other test work, it requires the assimilation of the material passed and the ability to apply it in practice. Parents, students, and educators should be calm about such tests. Monitoring the level of students' knowledge and subsequent corrective measures allow raising the general level of education in the country.
