Aml Amin is a British theater, film and television actor. Known for playing the calm and balanced Albi with the makings of a leader in the fantastic dystopia “The Maze Runner” and the poor driver Nairobi trying to earn money for the medicine of an AIDS patient in the science fiction drama series “Eighth Sense”.
Early life
The actor was born on July 30, 1985 in London - in the capital of Great Britain, with his parents, immigrants from the Caribbean. Aml was educated in acting at the London Barbara Speake School, one of the oldest stage schools in the world.
From childhood, Aml Amin began to take the first steps in his career - he participated in the show "Johnson" and in the musical "Oliver!" based on the novel by Charles Dickens. At the age of 11, he already performed on stage with Michael Jackson at the British Awards Brit Awards.
Carier start
His debut work on the big screen was the role of Terry in the drama "Bella and the Boys", where the main character was played by Billy Piper. This was followed by participation in the British medical series “Holby City” and in the youth drama “Shpana” about three teenagers who have life fighting in the classroom, sex and selling drugs in the yard.
The work at Span was highly praised by critics and earned Aml Amin a nomination for Best Newcomer to the Film and Screen Nation Television Awards, and also made him one of the best actors in 2006 on the list of the London version of The Times.
