The plan fails, people die. The policeman and the youngest member of the gang named Grommet was killed. Criminals are trying to travel outside the country. Johnny is forced to fly with them, hoping to save Taylor.
In the finale of the picture, the main characters are found on the coast of Australia. Between them a protracted battle ensues, in which Johnny takes over. The defeated Body asks to give him the last opportunity to ride a huge wave that is approaching the shore. He permits, realizing that this is the last wave in his life.
