The formation of a professional environment is the real task of any company. For modern business - this is very important. For post-Soviet enterprises, barely making ends meet, public organizations pursuing non-commercial goals - this is doubly important: if it is not possible to form factors of the professional environment through a natural regulator - money, then at least it is necessary to ensure peaceful production relations in a different way.
Reality
Professional environments, to a first approximation, are various sets of objects of labor, social relations, the implementation of knowledge and experience, relations of a personal nature and taking into account state influence.
This definition is somewhat wider than what is usually found, but the last three positions have become very significant at the present time. Professional environments are clearly divided into two categories:
- business - there is money and their amount matters to the employee;
- life - when there is an idea, a current situation, or "expectation of the end."
In both cases, the foreground is always a person and a professional environment in the context of objects of labor, social relations, knowledge, experience, personal and other circumstances, but in the first case (business) there is an essential circumstance: it has a natural regulator - money, in the amount of which allows you to manage.
In any case, there is a real formation-development of the professional environment and the “professionalism” of the employee. It does not matter at all which category has formed in a particular social niche; neither the position of the employee nor the position of the leader matters. Only objective laws always work, but how much they are known by the employee or manager is not important at all, but this is generally, and not for the first or second, in particular.
Interested employees and managers may be interested in understanding objective laws and the result will exceed expectations. Relying on one's own strengths, intuition and understanding of the situation, as a rule, does not lead to success.
Professional environment
The world is always full of thinkers who know what to offer listeners. It’s nice to say that it’s not worth much. But to spend time learning wonderful ideas is an unjustified luxury. Some argue that the professional environment is a place where a person carries out professional activities. Others go further and define the types of professional environment:
- realistic,
- research,
- artistic,
- social,
- entrepreneurial,
- conventional.
All this is interesting for the theory, for the psychologist, the head of the personnel department or the official who distributes the labor resource according to his will or staffing. In real life, a completely different thing is required, and no matter how much a person strives to control everything, it is better when he does his own business and is guided by common sense, objective laws, and the practice of being.
Which of what is said or written? Nothing at all. But if you make an attempt to understand life as a combination of personal and social, where the first is most often life and family, and the second is work and the external environment, then much can seem very different.
Profession and life
Everyone is interested in complete comfort, it is possible with hope for their own yacht, but more often it is easier: a normal family and normal work. You do not need better than everyone, for most it is enough to have a peace at home and healthy relationships at work, decent income and plans for tomorrow.
Everything is always extremely simple. A business that wants to flourish does not just accept a person for work, it accepts him for who he is and makes him who he is. Each person is a storehouse of knowledge, experience and commonplace reflexes. The first two positions are difficult to open, but affordable. The last position is a feature of communism, which has been worked out in practice; therefore, for many enterprises that are still living, this regulator is quite accessible.
Work, when it lasts for a noticeable time, and professional habits and getting used to the team are usually formed from a month to two, balance the system of "person and professional environment", but if a person gets used to performing a certain type of action, then the professional environment responds by changing the subjects of work and adequate response of the work team.
About changing the environment in the subject part
As for the subject, changes in the technology of work, new or modernized mechanisms, etc. - this is static, even if we take the most dynamic professions, for example, information technology.
Absolutely nothing has changed from the appearance of PHP, JavaScript, but Fortran still remembers the phenomenon in its time (this language and the languages of its time simply opened up enormous opportunities for complex mathematical calculations, first of all).
The combination of HTML + CSS is understandable and interesting to less than one percent of the world's population, even taking into account the terribly high growth rate of the number of people employed in the IT sector. Not everyone needs layout (HTML), and you can do without rules (CSS) of style sheets.
Programming as it was in the 80s remains the same in the current century (in a certain context , emphasis is placed on semantics , and not on differences in terms of manufacturability or functionality, for example, a kitchen gas stove at the time when it became public, and now time).
In the early 90s, programming had a real chance to change things, but monopolists took a different path (the priority of classics over objects), and not every single specialist or company is able to oppose authoritarian opinion.
In those days, a change in the subject matter would become cardinal and significant for a change in the social part of the many types of professional media in the field of information. Only in the late 10s of this century did what become possible in the early 90s of the last century become a reality.
The same can be said about other professional environments: the subject part is constantly changing, but how continents change the face of the planet, this does not always radically change the social component.
Change in the social component
Man is changing continuously. Each moment of time a person perceives information and instantly makes decisions. The solution of production problems in time depends on the specifics of the profession.
An operation by a surgeon can take from a couple of minutes to several hours. Building a house depends on the supply of building materials, and when they are, on the skill of workers. To develop a site, a specialist may require a day or a week, but after the expiration of the period he should be prepared for the fact that the customer will abruptly change the topic or the desired functionality.
It is not always important to consider what exactly this or that profession defines. However, it is important to consider the fact of how efficiently the employee spends time doing his work, how fully he uses his potential and how much he has to pay for it.
As a background, but mandatory process, it is important to take care of comfortable conditions for the work collective as a whole, of full-fledged social relations between employees, and of managing the work process.
Worker and the flaws of the natural regulator
Money is important when its amount is significant. A small reward for labor is not even of interest to survival. Rather, it is a mockery of the profession in general and of the employee in particular.
Significant remuneration for labor opens up new opportunities. Apartment, car, sunny beach by the sea and the reaction of relatives, friends, neighbors. As a rule, the foam quickly flies away, and the employee continues to work and works well, reliably and stably, but there are some that are not possessed by the best ideas.
In all cases without exception, all professional environments, even if the employer or work team did something wrong, did not provide for one or another scenario, keep their normal state. A business or enterprise may cease to exist, but this is particular. Professional environments exist over enterprises, companies, and other forms of combining objects of labor and social relations.
You can talk about the migration of knowledge and experience between enterprises, in terms of subjects of labor and social relations, but you should not imagine that the private experience of one company is a criterion or reason to discuss the general - this or that professional environment as a whole.
Inverse processes, by contrast, are very important. To perceive and use successful experience in any business is a very good tactic and significant effect.
