The concept and purpose of this document
The notice of reduction is considered a binding document, which is drawn up for any employee falling under this event. It is drawn up after the issuance of an order for an early reduction, containing a list of employees who will be dismissed. This may be the dismissal of the entire state or some workers.
A notification is issued to each employee in advance to warn of a reduction. The notice includes a list of proposed replacement vacancies based on skill level with the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Time frame
The head cannot perform the reduction of the employee earlier than 2 months before the date of receipt of the document (Article 180, part 2 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). The upper limit is not established by law, this is decided by management. After 2 months, the employment contract is terminated. It can be canceled earlier if the employee concludes a written agreement.

Reduction cases
Upon dismissal, another position may be offered. Then in the notification you must specify the list of offered vacancies. Work must be suitable qualifications. Handing over
It is advisable to provide a notice to the employee in person so that he will fill out a signature. An employee cannot be fired if he is on sick leave (Article 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation). But the law allows sending home notification. You can not dismiss pregnant women and women on maternity leave.
Order
If a reduction is planned, an order is created. It may relate not only to a decrease in the number of employees, but also to the renaming of a department, the opening of a new department, the appointment and renaming of posts. The sample redundancy order includes the following items:

The sample compilation and order form for staff reductions in each organization may vary slightly. But in general, it is compiled according to the above rules. The internal orders relating to the internal activities of the enterprise do not put a wet company seal. But in documents on external activities it is necessary.
Cancel
It also happens that the reduction in the number of employees is canceled for some reason. This procedure must also be properly executed. First, an order is issued to repeal the reduction order. The document fixes the number and date of the document, the order by which it is necessary to cancel, the reason for this decision and the grounds are indicated.
