The plot is already interesting in that it is based on real events. This story happened in the spring of 1996 in the Himalayas. Three expeditions organized by commercial structures at the same time decided to conquer Mount Everest with a height of almost nine thousand meters. These expeditions included experienced athletes, but there were also ordinary tourists.

Up three teams got almost without problems. But during the descent, the weather conditions deteriorated. Five people died during the strongest snowstorm. Anatoly Bukreev, the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, a professional climber, saved three more. However, this was in real life. And in the film, the main intrigue rests on whether travelers can return home, and which of them will forever remain among the snow of the mountain peaks?
