Diemersi Mbokani - Congo footballer. Currently has a contract with the club Dynamo (Kiev). However, this season he is on lease in the team of the English Premier League Hull City.
Diemersi Mbokani: biography
Congolese football player was born on November 22, 1985 in Kinshasa. The player’s first club was the local Bel'Or. Here Mbokani played in the position of the central striker. Having played the debut season for the metropolitan team, the young footballer received an offer from the more eminent national club - “Mazembe”. However, here too, the young talent was not destined to linger for a long time. A year later, the outstanding game of the striker attracted the attention of the Anderlecht scouts. Soon, Diemersi Mbokani moved to the Belgian championship, signing a long-term contract with the eminent club.
Transfer to Anderlecht
For the Belgian club Diemersie Mbokani, a photo of which can be seen in this material, first spoke at the beginning of the 2006/2007 season. The first match in the European Championship for the striker was the match against Charleroi. However, the Congolese rookie of the team appeared on the field only at the 89th minute of the meeting, which did not allow him to distinguish himself by any memorable actions.
For six months in “Anderlecht” Diemersi Mbokani three times trusted a place in the composition. In this case, the attacker every time appeared on the field from the bench. Only a few rounds before the end of the championship, an African football player began to receive more playing practice. The reason for the frequent appearance of the Congolese on the field was largely due to the significant points gap “Anderlecht” from direct competitors in the standings. Despite the lack of experience, Diemersi Mbokani declared himself as a real scorer in the decisive meetings of the Belgian championship. So, in the five final games of the championship, the striker signed 4 goals in the wrong goal.
Continuing a career in Europe
After a one-year performance for Anderlecht, Diemersi Mbokani was in dire need of playing practice. For this reason, the football player decided to leave the club. Another Belgian team became interested in the services of the striker - “Standard” from the city of Liege. Here, a Congolese footballer lingered until 2010, until his contract was bought by the French Monaco. The debut season in the new championship was even less successful for the player. Without showing his best qualities, Mbokani moved to the German “Wolfsburg”, where he spoke on loan. In the championship of Germany, Diemers played only 7 matches, without scoring a single goal. Soon, a serious knee injury forced the attacker to go for rehabilitation, which dragged on until the end of the season.
Return to Anderlecht
At the start of the 2011/2012 season, Diemercy Mbokani renewed the agreement with the Belgian club. Having no competitors in the position of the central striker, the player began to regularly go out to the fights in the main team. Pretty soon, Diemer's successful actions on the field allowed him to gain recognition from the club's fans.
Within 2 seasons in the Anderlecht, the African striker played 52 matches in the Belgian national championship, in which he scored 32 goals. Such high performance allowed the Congolese to receive the title of top scorer of the championship of 2013.
Going to Dynamo
At the beginning of the 2013/2014 season in Kiev Dynamo there was a change of mentors. Instead of the legend of the club
Oleg Blokhin, his former ward, Sergei Rebrov, was appointed to the post of head coach of the team. The young mentor was in dire need of a driving forward, who soon became Diemersi Mbokani. The passage of the Congolese from "Anderlecht" cost the people of Kiev 10 million euros.
Already in 2 debut meetings for Dynamo, the African striker managed to chalk up 3 goals. Despite a successful start in the new club, Mbokani could not compete for a place in the first team with other newcomers to the team. The constant turmoil in relations with the head coach, the difficult nature and resonant statements of the player in the press forced the Dynamo leadership to send the Congolese football player on lease.
The English club Norwich City has become the new club for Diemer's, where the striker moved in 2015. At the start of next season, Mbokani returned to Kiev, but was soon sent on a regular lease to Hull City, the colors of which he still protects.
Career Team
Diemersi Mbokani has always played for the DR Congo national team, starting from 2005, right up to 2010. In 2011, the footballer made a mistake by simulating an injury in reluctance to go with the national team to the African Cup of Nations. As a result, the Congolese Football Association decided on the life suspension of the striker from speaking for the national team. However, the player soon managed to find a common language with officials. Thus, Mbokani was lucky to prove himself at several subsequent tournaments of CAN-2013 and CAN-2015.
The final point in his career for the national team was set by Diemers in early 2016, when the national federation imposed an impressive fine on the football player. The reason was the player's failure to appear against the match against Angola. According to Mbokani himself, he did not have the opportunity to catch the match, because he was forced to stay at the Brussels airport because of the attacks that occurred here before the planned departure for the national team’s training camp.
