Alcohol and antibiotics are incompatible and harmful to health.

Friends, let's talk today about antibiotics and alcohol. Their compatibility is not only very doubtful, but on the contrary, rather destructive to the human body. It is strange to read the opinions of people who claim that the danger of such a combination is too exaggerated and even absent.

Let me tell you my story in which the interaction of antibiotics with alcohol played a trick on me. I probably won’t be able to recall exactly how alcohol and antibiotics were mixed, but the result of their “fruitful” interaction was well remembered. And the result was, as they say - on the face, only in my case on the oral cavity and throat. It's a shame that in fact, I practically do not drink alcohol, but it was on the days of treatment that I met a classmate and we drank literally a glass of wine.

In the morning I felt bad, and the entire oral cavity, including the sky, was dotted with ulcers. Sore throat. This condition lasted for at least a week and brought suffering: it was painful to swallow, constant salivation, and in general, mouth ulcers - this is at least discomfort for any person. Here, for example, how alcohol and antibiotics can act together. They caused stomatitis.

Of course, I had to go to the attending physician, who first prescribed an oral rinse. Without going into details, it is worth noting only that the rinsing did not help and the cure occurred only after the doctor prescribed other antibiotics that were already aimed at treating stomatitis.

It is possible that alcohol and antibiotics of certain groups are compatible, but is it worth it to conduct such experiments on your body? The fact is that doctors argue that such experiments can even lead to the death of a “tester,” that is, a person who cannot control himself.

In fact, there really are other opinions on this issue, including with reference to the opinions of specialists competent in this field. That is, supposedly nothing bad happens at all when sharing the given components. According to an alternative opinion, alcohol and antibiotics, with rare exceptions, are completely compatible, and incompatibility is a myth.

Typically, such statements follow from drinkers. But are they right? Even if a person directly drinks medicine with alcohol and does not get sick clearly on the same day, he must understand that he doesn’t have to do it once! In addition, not every disease declares itself immediately. Some pathologies may not manifest for a long time, and when they do, it may be too late.

It is characteristic that on the Internet the assertion that the incompatibility of taking antibiotics with alcohol is a myth, has become widespread. But even in articles aimed at destroying the "myth" about the incompatibility of alcohol and antibiotics, however, a reservation is made: "A certain reaction may occur in some cases."

This phenomenon is accompanied by such symptoms:

  • chills,
  • nausea,
  • severe headaches
  • cramps.

Is it a myth or reality? Are antibiotics and alcohol compatible or not? Personally, I do not see any paradox. Experts simply popularly explained that such mixing may not lead to pathology, but there are times when a destructive effect takes place. Other doctors say almost the same thing, but warn that taking antibiotics with alcohol can lead to extremely tragic consequences.

Well, if such a combination is not harmful, then what about my story? Suppose it was a mere coincidence? It's up to you, but for myself I have drawn conclusions. What conclusions are not difficult to guess. I also talked about this and I will talk, I will write, which is what I am doing at the moment in the hope of protecting readers from experiments of this kind.

I wish you all good health, friends and common sense in any choice!
