Wine Routes
Many people have a question: why go somewhere if you can find wine from any Kuban plant in every wine boutique? But true wine connoisseurs are well aware that this drink does not like to travel. Therefore, high-quality products can be tasted exclusively in those places where they are produced.
Kuban-Vino
Want to go on an amazing tour of the winery? You urgently need to go to the village of Starotitarovskaya (Krasnodar Territory). The winery located here was opened in 1959. This winery proudly bears the title of one of the largest producers of a noble drink in Russia. There are three main brands under which this factory produces wine: Kuban-Vino, Chateau Taman and Aristov.
In 2017, the manufacturer Kuban-Vino launched a unique line called Angels and Demons. It included white and red wines made from red Cabernet grapes. To date, several types of programs have been developed that include visits to both the winery and the tasting rooms of the enterprise.
Gelendzhik
The oldest winery in southern Russia is Gelendzhik. It was founded in 1869. Its founder, Countess Lyubov Firsova, is today referred to only as “Russian Madame Clicquot”. It is in honor of the founder of this winery in the Krasnodar Territory that the champagne produced here is named Madame Firsova. At one time, it was Gelendzhik that was one of the suppliers of the Russian imperial court. The winery quite successfully competed with no less well-known wine production in Abrau-Durso and Massandra.
Today the Gelendzhik winery offers first-class collections of a wide variety of wines - sweet, semi-dry, dry. Delicious champagne is produced by specialists. Moreover, the best technologies for preparing a noble drink are still preserved here.
Myskhako
At the same time as the Gelendzhik plant, the Myskhako winery appeared in the Krasnodar Territory. Its creator is Mikhail Fedorovich Penchul. But archaeologists note that in this place, as a result of excavations, they often find ancient Greek amphoras in which grape seeds are located. This suggests that the local climate and other conditions called terroir are excellent for winemaking.
During a tour of the enterprise, you can find out that the plant did not stop its activities even during the most fierce battles with the Nazis for the city of Novorossiysk. The guides will also tell you that today the products of the Myshak winery are extremely popular. This winery is an official supplier to the Kremlin. You can verify this on the spot - there is a tasting room. It is not difficult to get to the Myskhako plant - it is located on the shore of the Tsemess bay in the village of Myskhako.
Sauk-Dere
This winery of the Krasnodar Territory is called only a legend of domestic winemaking. It is located in the Crimean region, in the village of the same name. The history of this enterprise began in 1926. Then the Red Hammer State Farm was created here. It was the farm workers who laid the first vineyards. A few years later, in 1939, underground wine storage facilities were built on the site of the former mines.
Today, these cellars are known not only in Russia, but also in other countries. And this is not surprising: there is no sunlight, the temperature does not rise above +14 o C, and the percentage of humidity ranges from 56 to 78 units. The length of these basements is about one and a half kilometers.
Crimean winery
In 1926, the Crimean winery appeared in the city of Krymsk, Krasnodar Territory . Although it is unlikely that one of the plant’s workers, who then worked in a small grape processing workshop, could have suggested that after several decades this place would become one of the largest wineries. By the way, the employees of this winery admit that they invest not only grapes and labor in the drinks they produce, but also their souls. Here, they are sensitive to the traditions of winemaking, skillfully combining them with new technologies.
The pride of the plant is delightful vermouth:
- Crimean white;
- Crimean red
- Crimean mint;
- Crimean white Amore Appassionato;
- Crimean red Amore Appassionato;
- Crimean pepper.
However, this winery in the Krasnodar Territory also produces wines, carbonated wine drinks, sparkling wines.
