Inflammation of the kidneys: treatment, diagnosis, causes

Inflammation of the kidneys, the treatment of which can be difficult, refers to pathology. As a rule, pathogens become the cause - various pathogens. The result of their effect on the body is that an inflammatory process begins that affects the urinary tract and the kidneys themselves.
The nature of the inflammation of the kidneys can be primary or secondary. It is also worth noting that not only two kidneys can become inflamed at once, but also only one.

Inflammation of the kidneys, the treatment of which will be considered in this article, is due to pathogenic bacteria (this was already mentioned above). The most common of them are Escherichia coli, staphylococci, protea and others. All of them enter the kidney tissue through the blood. They can also get through the urogenital system (through the ureter).
This disease is common and can cause a fair amount of trouble. Kidney inflammation during pregnancy is especially undesirable .

How does kidney inflammation develop?
The disease develops quite quickly. First of all, it affects the connective tissue, renal pelvis, fat layer, which is located around the kidneys. In the event that two kidneys are immediately affected, pathology can easily appear in each of these organs. Its development will take place in its own way, completely independent of how it occurs in the second kidney.

In the event that the inflammation of the kidneys has become chronic, the disease will worsen more and more after each attack. There will be more affected tissues. It is important to note that the inflammatory process will end not with the normalization of the functions and structure of the connective tissue, but with nothing more than its scarring. The reason for the appearance of scars is the inhibition of the active function of the organ, as well as the constant compression of the renal tissue.

The inflammatory process itself has two varieties:
- serous;
- purulent.
In the first case, not only the kidney itself, but also the surrounding fat layer increases in size. Untimely diagnosis can cause purulent pilo-nephritis.

Diagnosis of kidney inflammation
Diagnostics must certainly be carried out on the basis of a blood and urine test. They are enough to draw conclusions about the condition of the kidneys.
Urinalysis consists of checking bacteriological culture for a favorable environment. The goal is to identify the pathogen, as well as how susceptible it is to various kinds of medical (antibiotic) drugs. A blood test for biochemistry makes it possible to understand how the kidneys function.

It is also very important to establish the presence of barriers to the flow of urine. This can be done using x-ray and ultrasound equipment.

Kidney inflammation: treatment
Treatment of chronic pathologies, as well as acute kidney inflammation, should be based on taking antibiotics. Various stimulants can be used to maintain immunity.
Inflammation of the kidneys, the treatment of which is difficult, can be eliminated by the introduction of solutions intravenously. These solutions will remove accumulated metabolic products from the body. The best drugs: Tsifran, Tarivid, Nolitsin, Abaktal.

In some cases, surgery cannot be dispensed with. It is aimed at opening an abscess. As a rule, after removal of inflammation, the patency of the urine excretion paths is normalized.

It is difficult to treat inflammation of a chronic nature. This is not an easy process that requires an integrated approach. Do not try to independently eliminate kidney inflammation. Medication can only be prescribed by a doctor. There are many folk remedies that can help in this situation, however, to trust them completely and completely is impossible.
