In the series “Naruto”, Yamato is a minor character, although in the second season he was surrounded by the main characters for a long time. His character, skills and difficult childhood made him a real leader, with whom he repeatedly appears in the anime.
Character and abilities
The fifth hokage of the village, hidden in the Tsunade leaf, gave the character a nickname in the series “Naruto” by Yamato, although his real name was Tenzo Kinoe, which the hero himself never mentioned. From an early age, he knew how to firmly assess the situation and always make the right choice. Even in the most tense moments, the ninja remains calm, which gives him a clear advantage over his opponents. Artificially introduced genes of Hashirama Senju live in it, and thanks to this, he has the ability to use wood techniques.
His strength was highly valued in the village, because only his body accepted the DNA of the first hokage. These experiments with genes on it were performed by Orochimaru, who in the early years abducted the boy. Kakashi released him from captivity, after which he was accepted into a special detachment of the ANBU of a village hidden in a sheet.
First appearance and connection with the main character
Yamato and Naruto first met when the first was appointed interim captain instead of the wounded Kakashi-sensei. The main reason for this was wood techniques that could restrain and seal the power of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. This beast lived inside the main character and at that time he did not know how to control it. Together with Sakura, Naruto and Yamato went to the country of Grass, where, according to intelligence reports, Orochimaru and Sasuke Uchiha were hiding, marked with a damned seal. For a long time they pursued a detachment of sanin until they found his refuge and entered there.
There, the former members of the seventh team began a conversation about duty and honor, which greatly irritated Naruto. Yamato at that moment helped to restrain the demon's power that had been freed and sealed it back into the hero's body. After that, a friendly relationship developed between the guy and the mentor. Naruto often went to him for advice while Kakashi was being treated at the hospital. Yamato was a student of the “copying ninja”, and therefore gave practical advice both from himself and from the direct teacher of the protagonist.
Fate in the series
Many viewers of the series do not know what happened to Yamato in "Naruto" (anime) and how the fate of the character developed. After going to the country of grass, he could be seen in the protagonist’s training while studying the tactics of controlling the wind element of the inner chakra. He helped Kakashi and gave practical advice on training, because he himself went through such a stage of strengthening.
With the start of the new great Shinobi war, even the Yamato photo in Naruto did not flicker on the screen. The reason for this was the abduction of a ninja from his village of Kabuto, who implanted the cells of the already dead Orochimaru and became incredibly strong. His woody techniques were used to create an army of white Zetzu clones.
It was for this purpose that the former assistant Orochimaru kept him under surveillance and only used genes for his own purposes. Later, he came under the influence of the Infinite Tsukuyomi (a special technique of Madara Uchiha), and was not mentioned in the series.
