Plot
The main character of the thriller Joanna (actress Jennifer Jason Lee), formerly a broken city little thing, languishes from longing in a provincial provincial town, in which she was forced to settle after the wedding. The measured life and destiny of a housewife is not for her, so Joanna, trying to diversify the routine, starts an affair with the cynical local doctor Cortlan van Owen (actor William Atherton). In the course of the development of their passionate romance, the couple have a crazy idea - to kill Joanna's good-natured spouse - Clint Goodman (actor Tim Matheson). Lovers immediately develop an insidious plan, intending to implement a criminal plan in the near future. As a result, the vicious tandem enforces the plan; poor Goodman sets off for another world, but not for long. Soon he will return, overcome by a thirst for revenge. Such is the ingenuous plot of the Horror "Buried Alive". The actors involved in the work on the project successfully realized the director’s idea, and in 1990 the world saw a simple, but tastefully created horror movie.

Correctly correlating the timing of the film and the scale of developing events, he avoided the ideological emptiness and annoying slack in the dynamics of the storyline.
