Natalia Dementieva: a brief biography
The future actress of the Belarusian Musical Theater was born on April 10, 1981 in the city of Vitebsk. At the moment, Natalia Dementieva is thirty-seven years old.
Twenty years ago, in 1998, the girl graduated from the Vitebsk School of Music with a degree in choral conducting, and then decided to continue her studies at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, where she chose the specialty of singing. The teacher of Natalia was the talented L.K. Kasporskaya, who is the People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus. All in the same Belarusian State Academy of Music Dementieva passed an assistant-internship.
Natalya gained experience working on stage, touring with BGAM choral groups. As an artist of the choir and soloist, Dementieva participated in a huge number of international competitions around the world: in Italy, France, Spain.
In 2002, Natalia Dementieva began her career at the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater. This is not surprising, since from the time of study the girl saw herself in the role of an opera singer, she dreamed of performing on the big stage from early childhood, from the very age she learned and loved the operetta. The experience of working with the theater choir only convinced Natalya Dementieva that her life would be connected exclusively with the operetta.
The debut role on the stage of the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater immediately became the main role of Odette Darimond in the play "Bayadere" by Imre Kalman. Further, Natalia’s career began to develop rapidly: the first role was followed by other, no less interesting leading roles in the performances of the classical and modern repertoire.
