The full name of the producer is Carlo Fartunato Pietro Ponti (it. Carlo Ponti). He was born on December 11, 1912 in the small province of Milan, in the town of Magenta. He died in January 2007 from lung disease.

Carlo's mother was a housewife, and his father practiced law and maintained his own office. Little Carlo attended school there, on the Majet. Immediately after its completion, the hero of our article firmly decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a lawyer.
