All over the world they make fun of the Slavs for their "love" of vodka and fat, and we can make a joke ourselves. It turned out to be especially successful to laugh at the addiction of Russians (and not only Russians) to “fiery water”, to the director of films about national hunting, national fishing, and national politics - Alexander Rogozhin. The jolly trinity, which became known around the world, helped him joke: General Ivolgin, the unique huntsman Kuzmich and, of course, the owner of an outstanding profile, Leva Soloveichik. These are the heroes of the film "Features of national fishing." The actors who played these roles really got used to the images of drink lovers. The viewer was ready to believe that they really drank vodka in the frame, but this, of course, is not so. A talented actor will make you believe in anything! Comedy came out on the screens in 1998, some jokers began to compare the trinity of protagonists that everyone loved with the world-famous trinity of the USSR: Morgunov, Vitsin and Nikulin. To some extent they are right.
Movie Summary
The plot is based on the drunken adventures of General Ivolgin (A. Buldakov), huntsman Kuzmich (V. Bychkov), Leva Soloveichik (S. Strugachev) and the rest of the merry company. Last time, drunken heroes tried to hunt, this time it was decided to replace the guns with fishing rods. Only vodka remained the same, this time in the amount of 15 boxes with bottles of the Harvest brand.
Thanks to vodka, grief fishermen lost their course and sailed to Finland, illegally violating the border. Further more! Veselchaks “occupied” a foreign hotel, believing that it was a Russian camp site, and drank the night away. The next day brought bitter enlightenment. Having comprehended where they are, illegal immigrants urgently rushed off to their homeland away from sin.
On this relatively optimistic note, fishing would have ended if it hadn't been for a terrible tragedy ... In Finland, the entire fuel supply has been forgotten, the Urozhay vodka was lost, as it seemed, forever. But it’s not in vain that they say: “Russians don’t give up!” Having convinced the submarine team to take part in a rescue operation to return alcohol for a fee in the form of the same “Harvest”, the “fishermen” went back to the Finns.

An ordinary country boy, Lesha Buldakov, was born in the village of Makarovka in the Altai Territory. Talent was given to him by nature, so well he is embodied in his heroes. The director of the film “Features of National Fishing”, the actors who starred in it, all those who had to closely watch Buldakov’s reincarnation as General Ivolgin, were struck by Alexey’s resemblance to a calm warrior. What a cigar always clamped in your teeth was worth!
Before starting the filming of the film, A. Rogozhin showed documentary shots with a real general and asked Buldakov about whether he would be able to transform into the same respectable military commander. The answer of the actor is clear to all viewers watching the adventures in nature of General Ivolgin. The prototype of the movie warrior was General Swan. By the way, when Lebed was told everything, and he saw Mikhalych on the screen, he was delighted and laughed to tears.

Semyon Strugachev got the role of Leva Soloveitchik, she opened the doors to him in a big movie. Before the “Features”, Semyon played mainly on the stage of the theater. They approved him for this film thanks, you won’t believe, to his big nose. The director wanted a nasal actor. Lykov could boast of such a dignity, but he could not act in film. Of the nosy only Strugachev remained. The actors of the film “Features of National Fishing” only benefited from such a prominent colleague. Humor Semyon did not hold, he could laugh anyone. All the actors laughed at Strugachev’s jokes. “Features of national fishing” brought together amazing artists, each of whom could feel at ease in a friendly filming family.
