Let's look at an example of how to calculate the length of service according to the work book.
A certain Petrov Petr Petrovich worked in one place from 08/05/1997 to 12/10/2002. In second place, he worked from 02/02/2003 to 11/17/2006 and, finally, in last place he worked from 12/08/2006 to 09/24/2016.
We use a simple scheme. Add up the start dates, and then the dismissal dates:
- 08/05/1997 + 02.01.2003 + 08.12.2006 = 15.21.6006,
- 12/10/2002 + 11/17/2006 + 09/24/2016 = 51.32.6024.
Now, from the result obtained during the dismissal, we subtract the result at the beginning of employment: 51.32.6024 - 15.21.6006 = 36.11.18.
Based on the formula, citizen Petrov worked for 18 years, 11 months and 36 days. When calculating, it is important to consider that there are 30 days in a month, and a year is 12 months. Thus, through simple mathematical calculations, we obtain that Petrov gained a total working experience of 19 years and 6 days. It is necessary to add another 2 days to this period, since there were 2 periods of working capacity, and one day must be subtracted from each date of dismissal. Thus, Petrov’s seniority is 19 years and 8 days.
And for those who have worked all their lives informally or for themselves, the legislation recommends making contributions to the pension fund, and then the chances of retirement increase significantly.
The categories of citizens, in addition to individual entrepreneurs who can work for themselves, can be attributed
