In 2009, the new Flora by Gucci fragrance was first released. The creative director of the company Frida Giannini worked on its creation. She was inspired by the cult flower ornament, which was invented by Gucci specifically for the Queen of Monaco. At first, this pattern was present only on the queenβs exquisite scarf, but then, when everyone loved it so much, it was decided to transfer these floral motifs to other things made by Gucci, and soon they were reflected in perfumes. Therefore, it is thanks to the quilted shawl of Queen Monaco that we can today enjoy the exquisite bouquet of Flora Gucci fragrances.

Frida Javanni also worked on the creation of the bottle. She decided not to make it too artsy or unusual, because the true decoration of this bottle is its contents. She limited herself to a strict hexagonal shape with a small black sticker that says "Flora by Gucci". The only highlight of the bottle is a flirty black bow with golden tassels. But the fragrance boxes are decorated with the legendary
floral pattern, which to some extent compensates for the simplicity of the bottle.
The
Flora by Gucci collection today includes 8 different fragrances, but they are all based on the soft floral motifs of the first
eau de toilette. The base notes of each perfume include sweet sandalwood and tart patchouli.
By the summer of 2011, Gucci decided to please young fashionistas and released a new fragrance Flora by Gucci Eau Fraiche, which became the third in the famous series. This perfume is a hymn to youth and freshness! It was specially prepared for the summer season and is designed to create around its owner the freshness of a sea breeze and citrus orchards even when she is walking through a smoky metropolis. Top notes of aroma reveal kumquat, sourness of lemon, bergamot, mandarin and sensual peony.
Gradually, the Flora by Gucci bouquet opens up and gives us the opportunity to feel the freshness of green grass, the coolness of the water, barely blossomed roses and osmanthus. Like a sweet cherry on a cake, pink pepper and the sandalwood and patchouli invariable in this collection complement this splendor. Such a fragrance is best chosen by young and energetic women who do not sit still, but are always ready to go forward and discover something new. It is ideal for everyday use, and for especially solemn evenings. Fresh, slightly sour and magical combination of floral bouquet, Flora by Gucci Eau Fraiche will become the hallmark of a romantic and sophisticated girl.

Last year, by the summer of 2012, Gucci prepared a surprise for the fashion world and released five fragrances for the Flora collection at once, which were combined into the Garden series (in Russian - βgardenβ). Indeed, each fragrance transfers its owner to beautiful gardens where mandarins, tuberoses, gardenias, magnolias or violets grow. Bright and active girls will like juicy mandarin, and quiet and gentle people will certainly be delighted with a bunch of violets. Everyone will find in this new collection a fragrance for themselves.
A pleasant property of this perfume is the fact that it lasts a very long time on the skin. It will be enough to apply it in the morning, and an airy flower plume will surround you all day. The entire Flora series, however, like any other Gucci products, is made only from high-quality raw materials using natural essential oils.
