Ivan Pelizzoli was born on November 18, 1980 in Italy, in the city of Bergamo, where he became a pupil of the largest city club "Atalanta". It was with this club that he signed a professional contract in 1998, and in the summer of 1999 went on loan to a small club called Triestina in order to gain game practice. There he spent 23 matches in two years of leasing, having missed not so many goals - only 24. Naturally, this attracted attention from other clubs, and confirmed his status as a young talent in the season at Atalanta, where he played 30 matches, conceiving 31 goals. Already in the winter of 2002, Atalante received an offer from the capital's Roma, which was ready to pay one and a half million euros for the young goalkeeper. So Ivan Pelizzoli moved to one of the strongest clubs in Italy.
The game for Roma
Pelitstsoli is a goalkeeper who could not immediately win a place at the base of the club, and this is evident from his statistics. In the four years that the Italian spent in Roma, he entered the field only 72 times, with 70 goals conceded. However, he played an important role in the club, and also won his first trophy - the Italian Super Cup. But in the winter of 2006, the time for change came - Pelizzoli no longer corresponded to the level of Roma, so the club leased it for six months to Regina, which received the right to redeem the goalkeeper for two million euros.
Going to Regina
During the six-month lease, Pelizzoli showed his best side, so his contract was redeemed. But he spent only six months in the new club - already in the winter of 2007, the Moscow Lokomotiv became interested in the Italian goalkeeper, which paid three million euros. After only 41 matches for Regina, Ivan decided to change Italian football to Russian.
Russian period
However, it cannot be said that Pelizzoli stayed in Russia for a long time. In two years, he played twenty matches, after which he would be sent to the club’s double. Before that, he managed to win the second trophy - the Cup of Russia. Unfortunately, this trophy was the last for the player. After six months in a double, Ivan was leased to the Italian Albinoleffe, where he played 23 matches. Returning to the “Locomotive”, he again found himself in the double, where he spent another three months and went back to Italy.
Return to Italy
Pelizzoli signed a contract with Cagliari, but as it turned out, it was too high a level for him.
