Giampaolo Pazzini is an Italian striker who managed to play in various football clubs in his native country. Unfortunately, he did not become a real star, he is not a brilliant player, but still in all the clubs where he lingered, he showed an excellent game and a good result. His goal was to score goals - and he did it when it was required of him. What career path did Jampaolo Pazzini go? What teams did he manage to play for and what was his memory there?

Giampaolo Pazzini was born on August 2, 1984, he began to get involved in football from an early age, but he got into the full-fledged football academy of the Atlanta club only at the age of fifteen. There he showed good results for three years playing for the youth squads, so he was offered a professional contract when he was eighteen years old. In his first season, he did not receive playing practice and continued to play for the double, but the team management was so impressed that the next year, at the age of 19, he became a key player in the club. He played forty matches, scoring ten goals in them, and the next season began even more vigorously, scoring six goals in sixteen matches in the first half. The successes of Giampaolo Pazzini did not go unnoticed, and the young talented striker was noticed by large Italian clubs, among which was Fiorentina. She laid out six and a half million euros per player.
The heyday of Fiorentina
In the winter of 2005, Pazzini was in the camp of "violets", where the young striker immediately began to trust the place at the base. Naturally, not so often - in most cases he came on as a substitute and scored three goals in 15 matches. However, from the next season it was much more likely to see such a player on the field as Giampaolo Pazzini - the football player began to go out in the starting lineup and score for a new club. In total, he spent three full seasons at Fiorentina and twice every six months - at the beginning of his stay there and at the end. During this time he played in 134 matches and scored 33 goals. In the winter of 2009, the 24-year-old football player came to the attention of Sampdoria, which offered the “violets” as much as nine million euros, to which the club gladly agreed. And Giampaolo Pazzini, whose photographs were already on the front pages of many Italian sports publications, changed his club registration.
Going to Sampdoria
In “Sampdoria” Pazzini spent only one full season - he again made a transfer in the winter, so two more halves are added to the full season. During this time, he spent as many as 87 matches, in which he scored 48 goals - an impressive indicator that attracted the attention of larger clubs. It was then that a gesture was born at Giampaolo Pazzini, which absolutely all fans now recognize. When he scores a goal, he puts two fingers to his mouth, between which he sticks his tongue out.
Bad start at Inter
In the winter of 2010, another transfer of the Italian striker was made - this time it was acquired by Inter Milan, which paid an incredible amount of 18 million euros for the player. Unfortunately, the attacker did not live up to his expectations - for the year and a half spent at Inter, he played a decent number of matches, as many as sixty. But at the same time he scored only 19 goals - naturally, this is a good result, but it turned out that for each goal the management laid out a whole million euros, which the club clearly did not like. And in the summer of 2012, Pazzini was sold to another Milan club.
A new beginning in Milan
Once in the “Milan”, Pazzini started very briskly, scoring 16 goals in the first season. But it was then that the legendary club began to shake in a fever, and already an older striker crippled injuries. Therefore, in the next two seasons, he scored only eight goals in 49 matches, after which the contract with him was not renewed, and he was released free of charge in “Verona”.
Continuing a career at Verona
Pazzini has been playing in the new club since 2015, that is, he has so far spent only one season in which he has played 31 matches and scored six goals. Now he is 32 years old, so he is no longer looking for new challenges - Giampaolo is already thinking about ending his career, but cannot yet say whether this will happen in 2020, when his contract with Verona expires, or whether he will move to another club at the end of the show. Team appearances
In the Italian team, Pazzini did not play a leading role - there were always more powerful and promising strikers. He made his debut in 2009 in a match against the Montenegrin national team, and his debut was painted with a goal, which he scored, coming on as a substitute. As a result, he went to the 2010 World Cup, but spent only 23 minutes on the field, not having distinguished himself with any effective action. But Pazzini did not participate more in major tournaments - he played only 25 matches for the national team, scoring four goals in them and giving four assists. He spent the last match in 2012, when he was released as a substitute in the match against Malta.
