She survived the betrayal of the first man, left alone in a foreign city with a baby in her arms, but did not give up, but achieved her own and became a famous fashion designer, and also found love in the person of her former literacy teacher, Victor Karen. The whole country sobbed over misfortunes throughout the series of Maria, everyone empathized and sympathized with her, condemned the windy Juan Carlos and unanimously hated the villain Lorena.
Mexican TV shows of the 90s are a storehouse of emotions and emotions. In our country there was collapse and devastation, people survived as they could, but in the evening at the TV they plunged into another world - the world of passions, love, wealth and betrayal. Experiences for the protagonists made it easier to endure their own troubles. This woman, at 35 years old (namely, she was so many at the time of the shooting of “Wild Rose”), beautifully and reliably played an 18-20-year-old tomboy girl. How could the Russians who watched the events on the screen want to meet a prince like Ricardo Linares, who would take them from the slums to his palace and make the Princess out of Cinderella!
Mexican series, the list of which is inexhaustible in Mexico itself, have come out with a very limited number. The last of them, which I would like to recall, is "My second mother." The main role of fashion designer Daniela Lorente was performed by the wonderful Mexican actress and singer Maria Sorte. The main difference between the plot of this film from all the others is that the heroine does not get out of poverty, she is already a well-established business woman. But the dram in her life does not get any smaller. Traitor-husband of Alberto, a new love in the person of Juan Antonio, the problem of misunderstanding with his ten-year-old daughter Monica, a dangerous rival to Irene ... And all this for many years. The heroine of Maria Sorte was able to touch the hearts of not only Mexican, but also Russian spectators.
Well, the studio “Televisa”, the first largest Latin American media company, was shooting all these foreign fairy tales. “Televisa” is the world's largest producer of Latin American Hispanic soap operas, we owe it to it that at one time we watched Mexican TV shows, a list of which has been preserved in the memory of more than one generation of Russian viewers.
