Reeves in this picture acts as an advertising agent Nelson, who is simply obsessed with his career. The young man lives on a tight schedule, his phone never goes silent, he goes to his goal and he doesnât care what people around him feel. But there comes a time when the "system" by which Nelson lives, fails, and the young man literally in one day loses his beloved girlfriend, as well as his beloved job, for which he made big plans.
Just at this difficult moment in the life of a young man, Sarah (Sh. Theron) appears - a strange girl who, at first, annoys Nelson with her carelessness and cheerfulness, then simply baffles him, and a little later conquers his heart. She teaches the hero Reeves to live anew and enjoy the very fact of life. But Nelson does not suspect that soon his personal happiness will end.

Filming of "Sweet November" started after Reeves starred in the acclaimed "Matrix". It seems that Keanu wanted to change the situation for a while, and at the same time, the role, as usual after heavy projects, is liked by all actors. âSweet Novemberâ provided him with such an opportunity.
The hero of Reeves in this film is experiencing a personality crisis. He is so used to the way of life that he led that he did not even consider other options for his existence. Everything that did not concern work seemed to Nelson nonsense and nonsense. But human life is not only work, it is also a lot of other joys that cannot be denied.
Sarah appeared in Nelsonâs life completely unexpectedly. And even more she struck the hero of Reeves with her proposal to move to her for a month. But after Nelson agreed to this crazy idea, for a long time he resisted the internal changes that were simply inevitable.
And so, when the young man finally understood how and with whom he wants to live, it turned out that his only beloved woman was terminally ill and she did not have long to live. You canât imagine a more dramatic situation. But, as you know, Keanu Reeves just as expertly copes with the drama genre as with the action movie genre. Therefore, the film is not without its merits.

Theron and Reeves were nominated for the Golden Raspberry Award - this is the award for the work that the actors did. âSweet Novemberâ did not appeal to critics, but was warmly received by the audience.
Theron in the role of Sarah was not so bad. I even got the feeling that the actress does not have to play anything - she just goes into the frame and becomes herself. Carefree curls on my head, warm cozy sweaters - all this went crazy Charlize and caused emotion.
In addition, Reeves and Charlize seemed to build their relationship on the stage again and did not return to the previous experience of cooperation that they had in the Devil's Advocate.
