All of them are somewhat similar to each other, but there are plenty of differences. Sometimes only an expert who has a very wide experience of work can distinguish one ailment from another.

The main signs of mental illness:
- fear;
- sadness;
- aggression;
- helplessness:
- sleep disturbances;
- pain;
- anxiety;
- the state "no one hears or sees him."

Neurosis

The first step on the way to a disease such as neurosis is ordinary anxiety. Neurosis refers to the group "Mental illness." In physiological terms, it can manifest itself in different ways: it can cause a stomach ulcer, heart problems, involuntary twitching.
The cause of neurosis can be fear of loss of loved ones, excitement about work.
With neurosis, a person understands everything, a clear consciousness, understands what is happening and has the desire to get out of it.

Obsessive Neurosis

This neurosis is accompanied by repeated repetition in the patient’s mind of the same incident or thoughts, independent of it. Most often, he is subject to conscientious people, unstable in their decisions, dependent on the opinions of other people.
Obsessive fears occur even in ordinary people: fear of the dark, spiders, snakes, heights. Cause: traumatic situation, for example, fear of the dark is associated with childhood memories.

Hysterical neurosis

It occurs as a result of a traumatic situation. Moreover, this person is not at all trying to resist her, but, on the contrary, “leaving” her completely, forcing himself to experience these experiences.

It is very difficult to get out of this state. For the patient, being in a hysterical state becomes pleasant: he can stomp his feet, pull out his hair, ride on the floor. Hysterical behavior sick people benefit for themselves, as they can manipulate people. For example, capricious children can get tantrums what they want. Women are more prone to this disorder than men.

Neurasthenia

This is another disease that belongs to the "Mental Illness" group. It occurs in response to a prolonged traumatic situation, accompanied by severe fatigue, mental exhaustion.
Neurasthenia develops slowly. Sensitivity to external influences is aggravated: changes in temperature, lighting, etc. In addition to external stimuli, internal ones are also worried: heart palpitations, weakness, headache or muscle pain, and the processes of thinking and memory are slowed down.

Schizophrenia

This disease is characterized by a change in personality, intelligence, emotions, thinking disorder, delirium, hallucinations. In schizophrenia, concomitant syndromes are added, for example, mental automatism syndrome.

Depression

This is a neurotic disease, which is characterized by a lack of joy, a pessimistic mood, a lack of interest in life and in people around. Often depression manifests itself in an apathetic state, sadness, a person responds from food, sex, his favorite thing. The world is losing its color.
It can cause various addictions: alcoholic, narcotic.
The aggravation of this disease is dangerous. Such people may stop thinking adequately, thoughts of suicide will appear.

All mental illnesses are the same diseases as others, so they require urgent treatment! Modern cinema and television creates the wrong distorted picture of all these ailments. Do not forget that people with mental disorders suffer greatly, which means they need help and support.
