Onions for this purpose are usually baked in the oven at high temperature. Then it is cut in half and the cut side is applied to the boil, fixing with a bandage. Change every 4-5 hours. After opening the boil, be sure to rinse with a potassium permanganate solution, and then apply a sterile dressing.
Also use baked onion from boils according to a slightly modified recipe - apply a plaster of a mixture of 1 part of grated and pounded laundry soap and 2 parts of baked onion. The rest is the same as in the previous recipe.
