History of creation
The director of the picture is Andrei Konchalovsky. Initially, the work was to be dedicated to the life of oil workers. It was a state order. This hero, played by Mikhail Kononov, influences the formation of the worldview of young Ustyuzhanin.
"Anastasia"
1917 year. Men from the Solomin family are returning from the city. They bring the news: a revolution has occurred. Anastasia goes to Nikolai and accidentally reports this news. Son Athanasius and a girl from the Solomin family dream of getting married. Relatives, however, are against this marriage. Nikolai became a respected party representative. It is known that in its native lands are oil deposits. However, these places are wild. The road that his father, Athanasius, once began to pave, turns out to be very helpful. After all, it will be possible to transport the drilling rigs needed in the search for oil through it. But the construction of the road still needs a lot of work. Nikolai gathers his fellow villagers and suggests continuing the work begun by his father. Only one person refuses this - Spiridon. He subsequently kills Nicholas.

In one of the last episodes, Spiridon approaches Thae and joyfully says that the last person from the family he hates is no longer there. The woman responded to the phrase of her relative: “The Ustyuzhanins were transferred”: “They are not transferred. I’m expecting a child from him. ”
