Dr. Harris Tales of Uncle Rimus

How was the matter? They started a dispute, which of them is faster, invited the judges and put the money on the line. Let’s now look at how the slowest creature on earth was able to come first in the race, ahead of the nimble and fast Rabbit? Brother Turtle did not prepare at all, lay and rested all the time, and our hard worker, not tirelessly nimble paws, prepared.

The thing is that the Turtle's children were like a drop of water like him, they helped him outwit the clever Rabbit. Harris hid the deep meaning in his stories. "Tales of Uncle Remus" teach us that deception is often found in our lives. No matter how cunning and dodgy a person is, there is one that will go around him. You can’t believe everything and everyone, you must always be on the alert.

These short stories are very fond of children, they can not be tired, because everyone is very funny and exciting. They are good for kids to read at night, but do not forget about how they were told by Uncle Remus. He did not tire Joel with continuous reading, but aroused interest in him.
