Any work book tends to end. And if there is already no free space in it, you need to draw up a separate document - an insert in the work book. It will be invalid without a work book. Firstly, only the employer can issue an insert in the work book. The first page completely duplicates all the data from the main labor page. Each column is filled in accordance with the request - F. I. O, date of birth of the employee, education, profession and date of filling.

The column "Education" should contain information (in accordance with supporting documents - it can be a diploma or certificate) about education with an indication of the assigned qualifications. The field "Profession" may be empty if there is no relevant data in the diploma. Also, filling out an insert in the workbook involves recording the last name, first name and patronymic of the person in charge or staff member, as well as his signature. The employee must sign in the insert.

The second column indicates the date of making the entry, the third - the record of employment with the employer, the decision to transfer to another organization, dismissal or reduction, the fourth contains the name of the document (for example, an order). All entries are made in full without abbreviations.

As a rule, an insert in the work book is issued indicating its number and series in the work book itself. Each time such a document is issued, the operation is repeated. The series and number are indicated in the last place, since if mistakes are made, the insert in the work book is destroyed. It is also necessary to make an entry on the issuance of such a document in a special book of accounting for the number of work books.

According to the instructions for filling and execution, the insert in the work book should not be glued, but sewn after the last page in the labor book. You should be aware that this document is acquired precisely by the employer, and not the employee in any way - this is in accordance with the "Rules for maintaining and storing work books, making blank work book forms and providing them to employers." If a staff worker sends an employee to buy an insert on their own, this is wrong, since the company is centrally obliged to acquire these documents. This is done in certain places that have the right to produce such printed products.
