Alcohol intoxication and elimination of alcohol from the body

Alcohol is an essential attribute of any feast. Birthday, wedding, public holidays, significant events in life and even a wake - everywhere in a mandatory order will be present alcohol in various forms and quantities. And all would be fine, except that almost all alcohol is a kind of light poison, and in large quantities - deadly. In addition, in the morning often a person becomes ill - in the people this condition is called a "hangover". And then people wonder how to remove alcohol from the body? For some, this question arises when it is necessary to solve important matters or sits behind the wheel.

Since people came up with alcohol for a long time, learned about its consequences, it means they should have alleviated their suffering. This is actually so. Since ancient times, the removal of alcohol from the body was a whole science. Nowadays, there are specialized clinics and teams for home visits. It all comes down to money. But back to the procedure for use. The degree of intoxication of a person depends, as you know, on many factors - the amount of alcohol, its type, individual perception, collective, mood, the alternation of drinks, snacks and weight.

Drinking, a person seems to enhance some of his qualities (confidence, openness, courage, anger, good nature), while dulling a sense of fear and measure. Alcohol is a product that leaves the body for a long time and with serious consequences. Each "experienced" person has his own way to alleviate his suffering - removing alcohol from the body according to an individual recipe. Dairy products, activated carbon can become helpers in this: they cause an acceleration of the withdrawal reaction, but they do not destroy alcohol.

By the way, alcohol is not found in its pure form in the body. It decomposes into ethanol and acetaldehyde. They, in turn, are not accepted by your liver, so often a hangover can be accompanied by pain in the lumbar region. The degree of intoxication is measured mainly in ppm, determined by a blood test or expiration. A blood test is more accurate, but more durable. It is worth noting that the breakdown time of alcohol in the blood is different for men and for women. For men - an average of 0.12 ppm per hour, for women - 0.09 ppm per hour.

There is also a formula for a theoretical calculation of alcohol concentration: Concentration = (amount drunk / (weight of experimental subject + digestibility indicator)) - decrease in concentration per hour * elapsed time after drinking.

The digestibility index for men is 0.68, for women it is 0.55. The decrease in concentration per hour for men is 0.12, for women - 0.09. The amount consumed is calculated from the product of the volume and density of the drink.

Folk remedies offer the following methods of removing alcohol from the body:

  • 1 tablespoon ammonia per standard glass of water; is drunk instantly;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (soda) is diluted in 1 liter of water, drunk as much as possible to cause a gag reflex;
  • put a mustard plaster on the back of the head, and then put the person in a cool bathroom;
  • turn the person on his side and rub his ears, then put a wet bandage on his forehead, give him a drink of mineral water.

If we talk about qualified medical care, then doctors use the following possible methods:

  • setting droppers;
  • the introduction of drugs intravenously;
  • tablets and solutions;
  • diuretic;
  • cleansing the stomach.

Another method that provides less painful elimination of alcohol from the body is as follows:

1. After a stormy feast, come home and eat tightly (gives the stomach food for digestion, which helps to increase its motility);

2. Drink plenty of water (this will relieve dehydration as much as possible);

3. Go to the maximum hot bath (this gives an increase in the rate of reactions in the body and sobering up);

4. In the morning, be sure to eat (food brings nutrients and vitamins to the body).

Remember that you need to be able to drink. This is a whole art!
