Over its half-century history, anime has managed to acquire several masterpieces that can be safely called classic. And there are a lot of such works. Of course, we would like to make an anime rating - the 100 best series, but this is not possible within one article . Therefore, we selected only eight films. They all have a different genre and appeared in different years, but at one time these anime series were the objects of admiration for millions of people. And now their popularity has not decreased at all. Let me introduce you to the rating of the best anime series, consisting of eight paintings. So let's get started.
1. "Death Note"
We think no one will be surprised that this cartoon tops our rating of the best anime series. After all, it is based on ideas that humanity has encountered throughout its history of development.
First idea: is it possible to achieve noble goals with unacceptable means?
The second idea: nothing spoils a mortal man like boundless power. Only God must possess it, since it is immortal. And a person, no matter how fair, educated and honest, having received uncontrolled power in his hands, having believed in his own infallibility and power, can commit many serious sins ...
The third idea (contradicting the second): of course, the gods are interested in the world of people, but they do not seek to interfere in their affairs and take responsibility for what is happening. Therefore, the gods observe from the side and very rarely do something.
The listed ideas are superimposed on a complex and vivid plot, saturated with unusual twists. In general, Death Note is the best full-length anime (the rating presented in this article is subjective and does not claim to be absolute truth) among all the existing series. We go further.
2. "Fullmetal Alchemist"
We continue our rating of the best anime series. There are exceptions to each rule. For example, there is anime only for girls or for boys. And there are exceptions in the form of the cartoon “The Vision of Escaflon,” which takes into account the tastes of both of them. The director of Steel Alchemist took a different path. He did not mix romance and fur, having shot a series for teenagers in general. At the same time, the director brought elements of an adult drama into the picture without violating the genre framework. For this reason, “Steel Alchemist”, addressed to a teenage audience, is so close and understandable to adult viewers. After all, the lessons taught to the heroes on the screen, they already experienced in real life.
3. Van Pease
Third place goes to the anime, which has been filmed for ten years. In the first series, we are told about the powerful and wealthy pirate king, who hides a treasure called "Dress" before his death. Ruffy's boy sets off in search of him. In the open ocean, he meets friends with whom he falls into many adventures and overcomes all difficulties on the way to his own dream. In general, this picture is deservedly included in our rating of the best anime series.
4. Ergo Proxy
In a world where robots and humans coexist, there is the domed city of Romudo. This is a kind of paradise with total control, where there is no need for human feelings. But soon this utopian landscape comes to an end. A series of killings takes place in Romudo. Ril Mayer, one of the best female investigators, was brought in to investigate. Plunging into the investigation, she finds out the secret of Awakening. This will forever change both her life and all the inhabitants of Romudo.
5. Hellsing
Initially, this series could not be considered as the best anime, the rating of which is known to all fans of the genre. But after Hellsing came out in OVA format, it was simply impossible to break away from it. At times, drawing and graphics have improved. The same can be said about music.
Another plus of OVA is that in the story, it almost coincides with the original manga. If in the main television series the plot was heterogeneous and discontinuous, then in OVA it is consistent and logically justified. Probably the director of the cartoon realized that he had wandered into the dead end of his plot research, and therefore decided to return to the roots. As a rule, first in the series they use the original plot and only then experiment with the variations. The creators of "Hellsing" went the other way. And that was the right decision.
6. "Naruto"
According to some people, this is not the best anime, the rating of which is presented in this article. But we believe that Naruto is rightfully in sixth place. And the many positive reviews of fans of this series only confirm our opinion.
So, in this picture we are told about beginner ninjas who have just completed their studies at the academy and received bandage certificates. Immediately after the release, the heroes meet enemies, find friends and end up in many dangerous situations and alterations.
7. "Cowboy Bebop"
The events of the series take place in 2071. Humanity is actively exploring new planets of the solar system. But law enforcement officers cannot keep up with the fast colonization process. Therefore, a new era of bounty hunters is beginning to receive rewards for the capture of criminals. This is what Jet Black and Spike Spiegel are doing, cutting the Bebop on the spaceship across the expanses of the universe.
8. Bleach
This cartoon about an unusual fifteen-year-old boy Kurosaki closes the rating of the best anime series. From childhood, the boy communicates with spirits and ghosts. Once, the goddess of death Kutiki herself appeared to him. Together with Kurosaki, they begin the hunt for the Empty (evil spirit devouring the souls of people). During the battle, the boy receives serious injuries, and in order to defeat the monster, Kutika gives him part of his own strength. As a result, Kurosaki himself becomes the god of death. But Kutika loses her gift and hopes that the boy will continue her mission to destroy the Empty. So begin the adventures of Kurosaki and Kutiki.
