French manicure, which is a white strip on the free edge of the nail, was invented by Jeff Pink, founder of the ORLY varnish brand. The history of its creation is associated with the need for a quick change in the image of Hollywood actresses in the process of filming various scenes.
Although this happened in 1976, to this day this design remains relevant. In English, the name sounds like "French." Initially, J. Pink called it "natural nails", but the name did not take root.
French oval nails are the very first variation invented by the American. For many years this design has not lost ground. And this is not surprising - he has become a classic.
