Modern technology
Plant breeding consists in the absence of an unfavorable environment and pests created by comfortable (sterile) conditions for plant growth. Each of them, of course, needs water, light, a certain humidity and temperature, as well as an artificial substrate in which they are grown. All this can be created artificially.
The technique is not new, but a new technical opportunity has appeared, which is more cost-effective. It is necessary during cultivation to obtain maximum products and minimize losses, including storage conditions. This technology is called hydroponic. New cultivation is new technologies.
It consists in the use of hydroponic systems installed inside airtight hoses. An optimal environment with a microclimate is created inside, which contains only useful nutrients. In order to maintain sterility and not to break the tightness, since it is very important for undesirable effects on plants, all care work is carried out using special equipment operating in automatic mode or controlled by the operator.
Benefits
This technology is good because the grown products are environmentally friendly, free of parasites, not damaged and do not require preliminary heat treatment. The grown foods contain both vitamins and nutrients. The hydroponic system is also good because with full automation people are freed from hard work. The environment also benefits - the amount of waste and industrial effluents will decrease. That is, cultivation is a plus not only for humans.
Agrotechnical cultivation
This is the old way. This method is the most common and used everywhere. In this case, in order for the plants to grow well and give a high yield, it is necessary to observe a number of agronomic measures.
After irrigation, the soil is compacted and does not let air through, so it must first be prepared (dug) to a depth of 20-25 cm, being careful not to affect the podzol - the infertile layer. Every autumn and spring, it is also necessary to dig the soil, preparing it for planting.
After germination of the plants, weeds that weed out the seedlings must be weeded, and cultivation includes periodic loosening of the soil so that air exchange occurs and there is no stagnation of moisture. The agrotechnical method also includes the introduction of organic and mineral substances into the soil during the cultivation of plants for the favorable development of seedlings. And also, in order to avoid infection of plants with pests, it is necessary to carry out periodic processing.
Application of methods
Both cultivation methods are used for both cultivated and ornamental plants. In some cases, their use allows not only to increase productivity or other quality indicators. So, cultivation is also a scientific development, thanks to which numerous breeding experiments and tests are possible. Subsequently, they are able to bring humanity quite a huge benefit.
The cultivation of microorganisms is the same method of cultivation as in the case of plants. Both that and another is a big breakthrough of scientists and all mankind as a whole.
