The scandal around Yulia Efimova

The father of the famous athlete Andrei Efimov tried his best to support his daughter and help her during the doping scandal. A doping test taken from an athlete in Los Angeles was positive. The famous athlete at that moment was in Russia. After she found out what had happened, she cried for a long time and immediately flew to the USA. She was so nervous on the plane that she felt sick, and she was carried out of the plane in her arms. She used the L-carnitine supplement, which is not prohibited. When the drug was over, she bought it in America. As it turned out, it contained the now banned meldonium. After investigations, Yulia Efimova was deprived of all the medals she won after the date of the opening of the doping test, and she was also expected to be disqualified in the amount of two years. Thanks to the efforts of the lawyer, the sentence was reduced to 16 months. The girl was initially not allowed until the 2016 Olympics. But she won the Court of Arbitration for Sport and went to the Olympics. There she won 2 silver medals.
