At 40, she decided to prove to everyone that life at this age was just beginning. According to Anna Kurkurina herself, the turning point was watching a television program about the strongest girl. It was then that she decided that she could become the same, and even better, to prove to the whole world that at her age, life was just beginning, and there was a place in her for conquering sporting heights. For 6 years she achieved dizzying results.

Youth

Those who saw a photo of Anna Kurkurina in their youth cannot hide their surprise. She notes that in childhood she was especially complex about her figure. Small, frail, with thin arms, a huge basin and crooked legs. This is how Anna Kurkurina describes herself. Later, she understood more and more clearly that her inner content absolutely did not correspond to the external. She has more and more developed complexes about disproportionate physique.

After school, Anna entered the Faculty of Biology, and after graduation she was sent to Nikolaev, where she began to work as a teacher. For 10 years, she taught biology in high school. Even then, many noticed in her a manifestation of an iron, almost masculine character.

In fact, a girl from an early age dreamed of working not with children, but with animals. A huge joy for her was the news that in Nikolaev there is one of the best zoos of the entire Soviet Union. After school, she hurried into the aviary to the lions, raccoons and wolves. Anna has raised more than one generation of animals. She fearlessly entered the cages of predators. To feed a lion is the dream of a woman who was soon destined to come true. The lioness mother refused to feed the cub, and Anna had to deal with this. It had to be carried on hands, and often a lion cub tried to climb into a woman’s hands. Along the way, she was engaged in the gym, dreaming of a slender and toned body. Anna Kurkurina achieved this in six months, but did not stop at the achieved result.

Sporting success

The sport fascinated her so much that she quit school and devoted herself completely to powerlifting. The persistence, work and patience of this woman can only be envied. She practically did not leave the hall, practiced several times a day, and all this did not pass without a trace. After a couple of years, she was recognized as the strongest woman on the planet. Anna holds the world bench press record. Its best result is 127 kilograms of 500 grams. Any man can envy wide shoulders, a steel press and pumped up arms. Of course, she had to forget about the female appearance, dresses and high-heeled shoes. Anna says that she is often confused with a man. More than once in the store they turned to her: "Man, take change!" And she silently took the money and left. Anna does not consider it necessary to explain and prove to anyone that she is a woman. She is not offended by this, because she really looks much better than most young people. She says that in spite of all this appearance, she remains a real woman in her heart and never thought about changing sex, and goes to her favorite female procedures - manicure and pedicure several times a month.

This woman with a steel character works almost seven days a week, constantly training future champions, runs a program on a local TV channel and a Youtube channel. But still, she has time for a simple, human rest - every week she sings karaoke with her friends, walks with her son or her soulmate.

The woman was not limited to sporting successes, the personal life of Anna Kurkurina is also on top. At 47, she meets 26-year-old Elena Serbulova. In one of the Ukrainian television shows, Anna, unashamedly, showed everyone her beloved and young son. This complex is built on a combination of power and aerobic loads that occur gradually over a short period of time. Anna herself calls these exercises “The Young Fighter's Course”, and indeed, not every man, not to mention an unprepared girl, will be able to complete all the components of the system the first time.

Performing four exercises - pull-ups, push-ups, pulling the bottom to the top in the jump, without leaving the emphasis lying, and jumping up - based on the principle of the pyramid. That is, first you execute them 10 times, then 9, 8, and so on, reaching one. Strong men can repeat the pyramid, starting from 1 to 10.
