The anime is based on the famous manga by author Kamijou Akimine. The series itself is quite interesting, however, in comparison with the confusing and eventful manga, the series does not draw on the most interesting anime. The action takes place in modern Japan, where the main character Sakura lives an ordinary life until she becomes an involuntary witness to the murder: a young guy burns several people alive with a strange blue flame.
