Victor Perevalov, one of the most famous Soviet actors of the 50-60s of the 20th century, managed to return to his acting career after a thirty-year hiatus and even received critical acclaim and applause from the audience. The first stage of his acting career was like a flash of lightning and a fairy tale. The magic of cinema completely absorbed the young Vitya, despite the fact that he was the offspring of a family of workers who had nothing to do with art.
Young years
In the difficult post-war years, another boy was born in the Perevalov family, named him Victor. The family was large, each member worked tirelessly. The young talented father worked in trade, which in the post-war years was very profitable, his mother a nurse. A large family lived in a Leningrad dormitory, in which six more of these families lived.
Victor Perevalov was a restless child. His cheerful disposition was noted by all the teachers in the school. Vitya absolutely did not plan to act in films. Everything was happy luck. On one of the excursions in the Palace of Pioneers, a fast-looking youth with a pretty appearance was noticed by assistant director Vladimir Bychkov. They were just looking for a child to play the main role in their short film. So began his career Victor Perevalov, an actor with a capital letter.
Studying at school after the first roles began to limp due to constant filming and lack of school. In the sixth grade, Vitya was almost kicked out of school, but, as the actor himself admitted, his studies ceased to interest him, he was completely absorbed in the world of cinema.

Victor Perevalov played his first role in the adventure short film “Tambu-Lambu”. The game of young talent was noted by many directors and critics and began to invite the boy to the cinema.

The actor was given into serious drinking bouts, but his wife Irina, who worked as an engineer at one of the enterprises of St. Petersburg, was constantly pulling him out of this swamp.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many talented actors from the old guard remained out of work. Everyone earned as he could. Victor Perevalov: cause of death
Oddly enough, but the last days of the life of the great Soviet artist are also closely associated with cinema. But it is surprising that virtually no hype arose around Viktor Perevalov’s person, even when he was famous, but the mysterious circumstances of the death of the artist gave rise to a lot of speculation and received publicity in the press.
Viktor Perevalov, whose cause of death is still a matter of considerable controversy, died on July 5, 2010 in one of the intensive care units of St. Petersburg. The doctors concluded that the actor had a heart attack. According to Irina Perevalova’s wife, her husband was ruined by difficult conditions during the filming of the last film with his participation, “Let Love Never End,” which took place in Moscow.
It was a terrible heat, the actor felt bad, but the assistants and the crew, seeing that Perevalov did not feel well, put him on the train without providing proper medical care. The actor arrived home a few days ahead of schedule, was in terrible condition. There was a bruise on his face, his body was swollen, he could barely stand on his feet. The actor’s wife said that he suffered from chronic obstruction of the lungs and often suffocated, could lose consciousness and be injured. Why colleagues did not report that Victor was unwell, his family was perplexed, perhaps he could have saved his life.
In turn, the director claims that the actor went into a binge during filming, behaved extremely inappropriately and insisted that he buy a ticket earlier than scheduled. The assistant director tried to reach the wife of the late deceased Viktor Perevalov and inquire about his condition, but he received no information other than threats.
