In the article, we will consider how blood donation for money takes place.
Most Russian citizens had to donate blood at least once in their lives. The donation procedure is quite simple, but there are many different subtleties. First you need to understand the rules and requirements, as well as learn about some benefits and compensations for donors.
The donor procedure is regulated by modern federal laws, which specify in detail who the donor is, his responsibilities are described, etc.
Paid or free
Blood donation for money is carried out at any blood collection points, and the donor decides whether to receive money for this procedure or do it for free. Here a lot depends on his personal beliefs and desires, as well as on physiological capabilities and financial situation. For many donors, this procedure is an additional way to earn money, which is very important among people who, for certain reasons, are temporarily unemployed or are unable to carry out labor activities. Many donors believe that receiving money is not the main thing, but they don’t want to donate blood for free either, and they can be understood, since donation is a serious damage to the body.

What is the price of giving blood for money?
All countries practice free change. It is believed that people need to help all those in need and not require material rewards for this. Until 2013, Russia had the opportunity to make good money on this. The state paid special material compensation to donors. However, this remuneration scheme was soon suspended. One of the reasons for this was the low quality of the obtained biomaterial, due to the fact that those who wanted to earn money hid all the contraindications from the doctors, according to which, by law, they should be refused to take blood. Today in Russia they again give money for blood donation, however, the conditions and requirements for donors have become tougher.
How much does it cost to donate blood?
To date, even though donors donate blood free of charge, they have been given some monetary incentives, at first glance extremely small. However, if you look, the benefits of blood donation are quite substantial.

- 800 rubles per serving of blood (450 ml), in cases of the absence of a certain red blood cell antigen or the rarest phenotype;

For blood flow, a thin tube with an equipped container is attached to the needle, in which blood accumulates.

How often can I donate blood?
A similar question arises for most people who are going to become donors. The main criterion for the frequency of this procedure is the body's ability to recover from blood loss. So:
- blood donation should be carried out no more than once every 60 days;
- delivery of plasma - 1 time in 30 days.
If the donor donated blood, then he can donate plasma only after 2 months. If a person was taken plasma, then the next possible change can be done in a month (both plasma and blood). However, the above instructions are only general recommendations. In fact, the criteria for women and men, due to physiological characteristics, are different.
It is undesirable to donate blood more than 5 times a year and plasma more than 10 times a year, because after each such procedure, the body needs recovery and too much blood loss, the donation can gradually deplete it. If the donor is a woman, then the delivery of biomaterial should occur no more than 4 times a year.
