What is a health group?

A health group is a special term that is used to designate and evaluate the health of minors and draftees. Such a separation and its documentary fixation are very important both for the state and for public organizations. Their significance consists in calculating the percentage of healthy children in the country and determining the permissible load on them (physical education and work), as well as on young people in the army.

Health group
Of course, parents also need to know which group of health the child has. After all, only depending on her can you know if he needs treatment, and if so, which one.

So, as mentioned above, it is the division into groups that allows you to determine the percentage of healthy babies and adolescents in the state or public institution (kindergarten, school). Children's Health Index - this is how these data are indicated. It is worth noting that in our time its indicators are far behind the norm, as more and more students acquire the so-called "adult" diseases - gastritis, ulcers, hypertension and hypotension, heart disease. If in norm the percentage of unwell children (as a rule, this value is determined for a time period equal to one year) is at least 70%, then real data speak only of 30%.

But how do health groups relate to all this? It will not be superfluous to say that there are only five of them. And only the first group of health makes up the index. It includes completely normal children in all respects, who either did not get sick at all, or occasionally had minor problems, who did not suffer from any chronic diseases. Any kind of activity is open for them, there are no restrictions.

Children's Health Index
The second group includes relatively healthy children who are often sick during the year, have a weak immune system and / or any abnormalities (morphological or physiological). Such students require special attention from parents and doctors, as well as some nutrition. As a rule, there are no restrictions for them.

The third group of health includes children suffering from chronic diseases. It is necessary to limit motor activity.

The fourth group implies the presence of chronic diseases and / or congenital defects in the children included in it. Such students, as a rule, are exempted from physical education and labor.

Draftee Health Groups
The fifth group includes children suffering from severe chronic diseases, as well as those who have significantly reduced the functionality of various body systems. For them, a special regime of the day and restriction of physical activity are required.

In addition to childrenโ€™s, there are also health groups for draftees. More precisely, the provision on military medical examination includes five categories corresponding to the above groups:

  • A - suitable for service.
  • B - there are limitations.
  • B - the restrictions are significant.
  • G - temporarily cannot serve.
  • D - not good.

As you can understand, these categories are determined by the health status of the draftee. The most complete information on the division into groups depending on the disease can be found in the relevant legislation.
