Greg Granberg (full name Gregory Phillip) is an American actor, musician, screenwriter and producer. He has more than sixty roles in series and films, including Happiness, Spy, Lost and Heroes.
Biography
Greg Granberg was born July 11, 1966 in Los Angeles in a Jewish family. Parents, Gerry and Sandy Granberg, raised the boy in severity, in accordance with their faith.
Greg grew up a very active child, willingly participated in all school performances, without missing a single one. It was then that he decided for himself that he wanted to become an actor.
After graduating from college, Granberg, along with several of his friends, unemployed actors, was engaged in business. They founded a frozen yogurt delivery service.
The actor also worked for some time as an assistant producer Joel Silver. Things were going well with the business, and soon Greg began acting.
Career
The first appearance of Greg Granberg in films on television came in the nineties of the last century. Then he played small roles in many TV series, including "Rescuers Malibu", "Murphy Brown", "Blind Flight" and others.
In 1991, he got a small role in the series "Silk Nets". In 1998, he was offered the role of Sean Blumberg in the series Happiness, which he played over four seasons.

Personal life
Greg Granberg's wife is Elizabeth Down Vershaw (Granberg). Their wedding took place on December 19, 1992. The couple has three sons: Jake, Sam and Ben.
The eldest son of the actor, Jake, suffers from epilepsy. This terrible disease forced Greg to study the disease in more depth and learn a lot about the suffering of her sick people. He learned that many people are prone to this ailment, including children.
The actor organized charitable gatherings for medical research and assistance to the National Epilepsy Foundation. He held several auctions, where guitars, which were painted by celebrities, were presented as lots.
In 2007, the Epilepsy Support Foundation organized the first National March to support the fight against this disease. Greg Granberg became its chairman.
He also created the music band Band From TV, consisting of American television series actors. They play cover versions of famous rock songs. All proceeds go to charity.
