Alexander Lomakin is a young Russian footballer who currently plays for the Yenisei club. He was only 21 years old, so he still has a whole professional career ahead of him. Alexander Lomakin plays in the position of a central midfielder, but sometimes he can be put in the position of an attacking midfielder or even a winger.
Carier start
Alexander Lomakin was born on February 14, 1995 in Moscow, where he began to play football at the local Smena sports school. He was later selected to the youth academy of the Moscow Lokomotiv, where he continued to play sports and train in order to reach a higher level. However, it was with Lokomotiv that the player did not work out in the end. In 2013, when he was eighteen years old, a professional contract was signed with him, but he never appeared on the field. Alexander Lomakin spent another year at the club, but did not wait for the opportunity to debut for the main team. That is why in 2014 he was sold to the Krasnoyarsk Yenisei.
Going to the Yenisei and renting at Leiria
In the first season in the new club, however, the player did not make much progress. He entered the field only three times, but it was clear that Alexander Lomakin was a football player with rather great prospects. Therefore, in the summer of 2015, he was sent for rent for six months to the Portuguese club Leiria. In six months, he entered the field eight times, scoring one goal, but even that was enough to get the experience so necessary at such an early age. Therefore, since the winter of 2016, when Lomakin returned to FC Yenisei, he immediately began playing in the club’s main squad. For the remaining half of the season, he entered the field 13 times and scored one goal. This season, Lomakin’s position has only strengthened: he has already spent 21 matches for the club, scoring seven goals and giving three assists. Largely thanks to the outstanding performances of Lomakin, the Yenisei is now in the top four clubs of the First Division and has good chances to get into the Premier League next season. Gradually, the midfielder becomes an important part of the team and, quite possibly, will be able to return to the Premier League in the future, maybe as part of the Yenisei, or maybe it will be acquired by some other club already playing in the High Division.
Team appearances
As for the Russian team, so far Lomakin has not received a call there. In 2010, he first played for the youth team under the age of 15 years, in the same year he made his debut for the older age category - under 16 years. It was there that he spent 14 matches, scoring as many as nine goals. But in the summer of 2011, the pupil of Lokomotiv was called up to the national team until the age of 17, where he played 12 matches and scored six goals. In the national team, he played both in the position of an attacking midfielder and in the position of an opornik. Now stability is coming to Lomakin, he is becoming a key player in his club, so that over time he can rise to new heights and eventually receive the long-awaited invitation to the adult team. So far, he can only work on himself and make every effort to demonstrate outstanding results in the Yenisei.
