Many schoolchildren and students are asking questions: how to pass the physics, is it difficult to do, what do you need to know to get a good grade? According to old-timers, any exam is not so much like roulette as a flip-flop: the main thing is not to get nervous and save trumps. It is also important to be able to establish personal contact with the examiner. What is the trick here? The fact that this human contact should be established just only on the educational and professional field. Attempts to go beyond it, as a rule, have the opposite effect. This is not at all what it takes to pass physics (OGE, etc.)
How to prepare for an answer?
The worst thing is when a student begins to stammer from the first words of excitement. Therefore, before going to the board, say at least the initial part of the answer to yourself. It will psychologically set you up and give you speech stability. In addition, it is important, firstly, to clearly distinguish between legal and illegal materials. Often allowed to use: formulas, summaries, books (depending on the examiner), graphics, drawings, illustrations. The above can be accessed openly, viewed without hiding. Illegal materials (everything that is not allowed to be used in preparation for the answer) should be pulled out with caution, carefully, and hidden carefully.
Secondly, correctly use cheat sheets. This will help pass physics to at least “satisfactory”, even if your level of knowledge is not too high.
Thirdly, never ask the teacher for another five minutes to prepare. It really won’t give you anything anyway, but it looks very pathetic and defiant. Maybe they will give time, but then they will exact a hundredfold.
How to pass a physics exam if you are not confident in your knowledge?
It is important to try to distract the examiner's attention from yourself and your answer. This requires a certain neutral tone and rhythm of speech. Fortunately, the teachers themselves, especially lecturers, will give you a sample in this regard.
Once and for all, rehearse the desired tone at home, copying the most erased and poorly remembered lectures from among those that you heard in the ending semester.
Demonstrate (but without pressure) a deep interest in the subject and the opinion of the teacher about it. If he corrects you, the joy of knowing the riddles that have tormented you should be displayed on your face.
Do not be silent on the exam
Remember what you didn’t know. Most importantly - do not be silent. If you do not know the answer, feel free to reconstruct it and put it out. If it doesn’t work out, think up on a hunch, moreover, as much as possible and more realistic. If the risk of mistakes is very high, cover the straws with a polite warning like: “Honestly, I don’t remember exactly, but it would be logical to assume that ...” Remember this phrase, it will help you if you don’t know how to pass the physics exam with minimal training.
The effect of the reception is based on the fact that if you told something half-fantastic, it means that you taught, learned, but forgot something. And if you are silent, it means that the textbook was not opened.
Tricks
Is it difficult to take physics? It all depends on your knowledge. If you are not sure that you have enough of them, try using one of the tricky but dishonest tricks on the exam. However, remember that a good preparation will give a much better result.
Use the Poor Patient technique. Grab your asthma inhaler and occasionally sniff. Firstly, cause sympathy, secondly, you will get an excellent legitimate excuse for stuttering and stopping, thirdly, the teacher will feel sick to watch you suffer, and he will try to let you through the exam faster without asking for details. The inhaler can be replaced to taste with any other device of a similar psychological effect.
If you do not know the answer to the question and have demonstrated it brilliantly, it is still possible (but with a great chance to aggravate the situation) to rectify the matter with a risky trick. Say that this is not in the program and textbook. As a rule, the teacher himself does not know what is there and what is not there. If you make your statement not with arrogance, but with quiet despair and a willingness to endure everything, you can really get out.
Additional questions
How to pass physics if you answered poorly on the exam? Try to fix the situation. Ask for additional questions. Refer to the fact that you were preparing, but forgot the answer to the ticket. At the same time, keep in mind that the assessment can change for the better or for the worse. If you are not sure that you will receive "good" instead of "satisfactory", do not take risks.
The examiner can ask more than one or two additional questions, your answer on the main ticket may not be interesting to him at all. Especially if you are allowed to use supporting materials: from lecture notes to textbooks. In this case, they usually drive around the course. If you are sure that you do not know the answer to an additional question, say so, do not carry a complete nonsense.
Appeal
You did not know enough about how to pass physics, and failed the exam? Are you convinced that the teacher was biased? You have the right to appeal to the educational unit, to the dean’s office. But not always you will be able to achieve that you will be allowed to re-examination, especially with the replacement of the host. In most cases, they will convincingly prove to you your own wrong. The student most often cannot objectively evaluate his answer and the severity of the examiner.
There are good chances of revision in several cases:
- If the examiner was incorrect, which is also very vague. From whose point of view? A student who does not know anything, or an examiner who wants to hear the answer to at least one question of his own?
- If you have experienced strong pressure from the teacher (but the exam is rarely conducted on the model of interrogation in the Gestapo).
- If the conditions were completely unbearable and prevented you from concentrating (paint the corridor, and you have a headache from this smell; hammer the asphalt in the yard with hammers; nearby, behind the wall, nails are hammered, sawed, chopped and generally create an incredible noise).
- If, finally, the teacher was drunk.
In such cases, your request can be satisfied and you will get the opportunity to pass the exam again from another teacher. But all this does not mean that your assessment will improve after that. To pass physics, you need to know what is written in the textbook and in the abstracts. This is the most reliable way to get fives on the exam.
